Overview
Guest House Raicho offers accommodation in Norikura Kogen in Chubu Sangaku National Park. Mt. Norikura Ski Resort is a 3-minute drive away, and pick-up service to and from the resort is provided every morning. Free WiFi and free parking is available on site. Guests can also enjoy bathing in the sulfur hot-spring, which makes use of pure spring water. Towels and toothbrush are provided at a fee. Kamikochi Sawando Car Park is a 20-minute drive away from the property. Kamikochi Bus Terminal is a 30-minute bus ride from Kamikochi Sawando Car Park, and a 60-minute direct bus ride from Norikura Kogen. Guests can have breakfast at an extra cost upon request. Guests can make their own meals at the shared kitchen on site. Activities available around the area include out-of-area skiing and snowboarding, snowshoeing near a waterfall, hiking, cycling and fishing. Guests can also visit the Northern Alps or Matsumoto City, both tourist destinations that can be accessed from the property.

I am still without words. This is the perfect place with private onsen options. Great common places, super kind staff and all with the amazing nature around in Norikura Kogen. If you love nature oriented places with perfect Japan style, don't look forward. Most people come by car, we came by bus from Kamikochi and it gives to the experience. It's so nice we definitely will come back.

“Beautiful self sufficient guesthouse”
The guesthouse is very clean and well organized to be as self sufficient as possible. You can even get food for dinners from their little shop counter. The bedroom was comfortable and also very clean. The private onsen and their reservations system is beyond excellent and very enjoyable. The best onsen of your trip so far. The staff is very kind and accommodating.

“Beautiful, calm, cosy”
The best guest house I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was so well thought out and homely. The private outside onsen was literal magic and the bagels at breakfast were tasty. The surrounding area was beautiful to explore - I wish I could have stayed longer!

“Very cosy but the dormitory can be loud”

Absolutely stunning place. The scenery is breath taking and the hotel was warm and cosy with such a relaxed atmosphere. The lounge with log fire and outdoor onsen were a treat. The beds were so comfy. Highly recommend!

Like that there's a kettle and humidifier in the room. Comfy bed and ample space. And a nice surprise that each room can reserve onsen for a specific timeslot. Had a great stay!

Beautiful place, very remote (especially in Winter), the onsen and the hiking tours are amazing. The room and common room are super comfy. The staff goes above and beyond to assist with everything.

Definitely the Private Onsen. Lovely guesthouse. A lot of spaces to hang around. Great kitchen and dining area. Clean!!
