The beds were comfortable and warm. The shower was hot and strong. Reception provided additional kitchen ware for use if required. There was a convenient laundry facility (200 yen to wash and 100 yen per 20mins of drying). Plenty of parking (you will need a car to get around Matsumoto). The gentleman running the train was delightful. My child enjoyed the climbing wall in the room.

We stayed in the caravan, nice experience

We travelled by car so had no trouble getting there. Every possible detail was thought of, from the comfort of our stay to our entertainment. There was origami paper in our room, and motorised train for the kuds to ride outside, swings, a rock-climbing wall and hammock swing in our room. The kitchen was well appointed in our room, the room was a great size, and the staff were very accommodating. There was even a shop on the property that allows you to turn a coin from anywhere in the world into a ring and a pendant, and they teach you to make it yourself! An incredible experience! Loved everything about this place!

“Far from center, very clean, fantastic in summer”

Staff extremely nice, room spotless clean. Bathroom big. We had a small room with a kitchen (small). Everything was ok but no table to have a breakfast or a dinner. Location is far from Matsumoto center, therefore a car is essential. Parking outside the property is easy. A lot of facilities for summer vacations (that we did not use since it was late october), i imagine the place should be wonderful in summer!

So much fun and excitement for children at L-Base! Climbing wall and hammock swing in the room, treehouse and a train that can bring adults and children alike on a trip around the property. Handheld fireworks can also be bought on site. Staff were friendly and helpful, with lots of free rental items available at reception.

This was such a cute place to stay. I feel like the photos dont really do it justice. We got there at night time and it had all these cute little fairy lights! It has a little train that goes around and the rooms were surprisingly big with their own kitchens. Fresh towels every day and very accomidating staff! I reccomended this place to my friends!

“Beautiful property with amazing owner.”

We had a great stay with the friendliest host we could ask for. He went out of his way to show us the beautiful parts of the property and take us up the hill to get a full view of Matsumoto. We felt very comfortable and welcome.

This is a truly charming accommodation. The place is kept incredibly tidy and the rooms are surrounded by gardens. There was a little train for the kids and a restaurant nearby. We loved it.

Very nice and green location. The room is cosy although a bit small. The place has all the amenities one needs.

The place was in a quiet residential area. We loved how the property was built up. It was modern and cosy. We only spent a night there and my kids couldn’t bear to leave.

There are no blinds and the curtains are not enough to prevent the sunlight from penetrating, which woke me up at six in the morning.
