“Stunning, traditional, cozy!”

It is a very cozy, traditional stay in an excellent location for nature and star lovers. The hot spring Onsen is open 24hours and has such a nice charm and vibe. I really love how that stay felt! The owner is extremely nice, helpful and sweet. There were communication problems at some point on our side, he arranged a translated phone call so we can get an answer! The value for price was nice. I would whole heartedly recommend this place to everyone, but especially to other tourists who actually want to immerse themselves into real Japan!

“Wonderful”

Our stay at Hoshizora no Akari was the most wonderful part of our Japanese trip. Our host is extremely attentive, generous, and welcoming; he knows how to make you feel comfortable in his guesthouse. The rooms are simple but very pleasant, the private onsen is a dream, and the location of the place is ideal for staying in the region and going on beautiful hikes. We highly recommend it! Everything was perfect. You know is not a luxury hostel, but it was cute and comfy. Everything was fine and the facilities are greatful. Perfect location to be far to the crowd, close to the nature. The room was really nice, the mattress was really comfy ! Thanks to the boss, he's an amazing person very helpful and kind.

The guesthouse host was friendly and very helpful. He made us feel at home right away and was able to have a conversation in English, helping us with sightseeing and restaurant recommendations. We loved the cute Japanese touches and the onsen.
