The property was really close to aeon mall and 7 eleven. We could walk easily to the main tourist sites. The house was very big and offered a really comfortable and cosy stay for me and my friends. We really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent location, close to Aeon shopping mall, and within a 30-minute walk of Matsumoto City's major attractions.The interior space is spacious, featuring a Japanese-style living room, a well-equipped kitchen, and a large dining table.There are two large Japanese-style bedrooms on the second floor, which are very comfortable to sleep in.The bathtub in the bathroom wasn't big, but it was very clean, and there was also a washing machine for doing laundry.

Lovely little two-storey house a 25 minute walk from Matsumoto Station. Had all the facilities you will need and is really close to AEON mall and a 7-Eleven literally right next-door. Was perfect for me having a one nigh stay to see the city.

Very nice place with good location and very clean. Highly recommended from group visitors(accommodation for 6 people is okay) 7-11 and big supermarket Aron nearby make our stay here very comfortable.Also easy access to Matsumoto station about 10mins by taxi and 30mins by walk.

Very good location, located in central of the ecery places we wanted to go. 7 eleven was just right beside, and Aeon was just walking distance around 180m, really convenient to look for food. The house is clean and the host gave very clear instructions on everything including recommended where to visit at the time.

Communication with host in English was excellent via WhatsApp. Did suggest a eatery which we took up and food was great. Just few minutes walk is the Aeon mall & has a supermarket.

Forest Agata. What a wonderful little house in a great location in Matsumoto. We are a couple travelling by ourselves. We stayed there for just one night but would have loved to stay longer. Masa (Masaya) is a great host, provided suggestions as to what to see & do, is very available to answer any questions that you might have and more than willing to step in, if you need a hand or get stuck. Thank you Masa for looking after us! The location is the real key as to why this place was attractive to us. Being just a 5 minute walk to the entry to a new shopping mall with a food court on the top level (with 6-8 different vendors including KFC & Moss Burger) and 6 or so restaurants downstairs, it has plenty of dining options. On the way to the mall, there is the local bus stop, that can take you to the main JR station (10 minute ride, about Y200) Matsumoto castle is about a 20min walk from Forest Agata. Its is a great opportunity to follow the laneways through the suburbs and stumble across unexpected finds. There are tours of the castle in English language that depart from the main entrance at allocated times. The house itself has everything you need for your stay, including a dine in kitchen & laundry facilities. Although an old construction, everything is spotlessly clean & has new fittings and fixtures, like the toilet suite and vanity. We stayed in the winter time & the lounge/kitchen/diner & bedrooms are heated by reverse cycle air conditioning. The parts of the house that are not heated are quite cold, so make sure you have some warm lounge wear if staying during winter. There is a 7-11 Konbini right next door to the house, which is (obviously) quite convenient. When we first saw it we were a little worried about noise issues, but it proved to be not intrusive during sleep time with the heater on. We really loved our stay in Matsumoto & thank you Masa for looking after us.
