“Great Common Space and Location to the Lake and Castle”
Staff was incredibly friendly and allowed me to check-in a bit early. The hostel is incredibly clean and has a great atmosphere. Good location near the waterfront to allow patrons to watch the sunset over the lake. Overnight rooms are fairly standard to Japanese hostels. The common room through the outdoor terrace is MAGICAL. A retrofitted grain storage room, the atmosphere is incredibly cool and warrants spending time hanging out in there.

“Very clean and comfortable beds”
In the center of the town Close to Train Station Very good walking and looking into small local shops on the way to the HISTORIC MONUMENT and ancient CASTLE OF THIS TOWN ON this way even a coffee house rosting their own beans splendid everywhere including the HOSTEL and even the restaurant at the same place

“Very good and comfortable.”
The location was great! Easy to find even after having a night out. The staff informed me of all the rules. They also had a printed copy that was in both Japanese and English, which was great because I don't understand much Japanese yet.

“Fab stay”
A great hostel with lovely facilities. There is a kitchen, a common living room and an outdoor area where you can smoke. It's an easy 10 min walk from Matsue train station and only 5 minutes from the entertainment district. There is a nice restaurant beside the entrance to the hostel. The ladies dorm has 6 beds and you are provided with a door code for the front and room door. There is a quiet time imposed from 11pm.
