Good location near the river, a lovely atmosphere with tatami floors and modern rooms with beds. Nice spacious room, different to every other hotel room we had in Japan! The bath is unreal, in the women’s bath if you time it right you can open a small window and watch the sunset over the lake and small canal from the bath. Quite the experience. Staff were helpful making restaurant reservations for us etc

“A relaxing original experience”
Very refined and clean hotel. Common spaces very comfortable. Room with a view of the lake. They offered complimentary ice cream and ramen in the evening. Excellent location

“Wonderful hotel, wish they were all this good”
We loved the room, almost like an apartment in terms of amenities. Beds excellent. Sit-in shower with excellent water pressure... magnificent. Separate WC... we like that! Breakfast... superb.

“very good large rooms.”
Lovely hotel, the onsen and sauna was fantastic. The staff very helpful even though we can't speak Japanese. Transfered bags for us and kept our bags Will we visited Oki island. We liked complimentary ice cream after ensen.
