The breakfast was very good; the location was also good tho' a courtesy bus to Matsue Station would be nice. Nobody told us that the excellent Lakeline Bus stopped just outside the hotel. We found out by ourselves! Meals are expensive, and it might be useful to future visitors if you tell them that the "Shijimi-kan" about 150 metres west of the hotel has cheaper alternatives. Unlike most hotels, the room toilet and bathroom were separate. That was wonderful!

“Resort hotel with a convenient location”
New hotel building with a lake view, hot springs, and next to a train station. You get a resort mood for the price not much higher than a business hotel. The buffet is good for its price.

Fantastic hot spring baths! Nice comfortable bed. Didn't book meals at the hotel so can't comment on those. Proximity to the station for trains to Izumo Taisha a bonus.
