“A Hidden Gem on Daikon Island”

This is the 2nd time staying at COCORETO. A place that worths revisiting tells everything. Mackey is welcoming & helpful as usual and he checks everything for us before staying. We really appreciate his thoughtfulness. Don’t miss the bikes from the Guesthouse. Try to rent one & 🚴🏻‍♀️ around the island. Thx so much again & we would surely come back.

The owner is the most kind and considerate gentleman I have ever met. He went out of his way twice to return lost items to me, He always has a lovely smile on his face and is very nice to chat to. He even went out of his way to translate an english version of the local restaurants menu for use for guests. The beds were super comfy, the kitchen area is well stocked for any use you may have, the toilet and shower area are clean as is the communal area.

“Relaxing place surrounded by beautiful nature.”

Everything was very clean and all the guest at the time of our stay were very respectful. The bedroom was actually pretty wide and easily accessible. The owner was very knowledgeable about the local area. Location was great with a beautiful view of the surroundings.

“Very comfortable, quiet and friendly”

Friendly staff, quiet area and very comfortable amenities. Four outlets to a bunk, shower stalls and toilets all reasonable size. Nicest bunk mattress I’ve had in years. Been to many hostels in Japan and this was one of the most comfortable.

Very beautiful place. the beds are very comfortable, and the hostel is very clean. Very nice human experience, the owner takes the time to chat with you, and to share his knowledge of the region and Japan. very nice experience! I recommend for foreigners looking for an authentic experience in Japan!

“Just come here and you’ll never regret”

The environment is so quiet and relax. You can hear chirping of cicadas when sitting outdoors. It is also a good place to stargaze. The interior is very cozy and decent. Everything is tidy and clean. The owner is so welcoming and nice.

Such a lovely stay in the middle of rice field in a small island. Beautiful kitchen and communal area. Comfortable bed. Supermarket nearby. Nice and kind owner. Strongly recommend.

Spacious & well equipped. A beautiful guesthouse with decent & cozy decoration. Comfy beds & smart design that allows quiet corners for every guest in their sleeping area. Cozy dining room & neat kitchenwares.

Messed up my travel planning and couldn't make it even on last train but owner was super nice and accomodating and picked me up from a diff station nearby 🥺✨ Super cozy peacful place in a very rural area. No other guests at the time soo had all the place to myself Bed was super comfy and there was a small locker by your bed(need your own lock)

Everything was perfect in that guest house: the location, the comfort, the cleanliness and the facilities. The owner is very nice and welcoming. The building was warm and the surroundings are very quiet. I had a very good night, I hope I could have stayed more!
