Overview
The traditional Hotel Rauter is located in the centre of Matrei in East Tyrol, close to the cable car. It offers a modern spa area with indoor pool, and a heated outdoor pool in the garden open during summer months. The 1,000 m² SPAradies features various saunas, rooms for physiotherapy, massages and fitness, and a large relaxation room overlooking the garden. Most rooms have a balcony with mountain or garden views, as well as satellite TV. Tyrolean specialities, international dishes and fine wines are served in the award-winning restaurant. Hotel Rauter also has an elegant bar, a café, and a breakfast room with a terrace. The lobby of Hotel Rauter features an open fireplace and a small library. Hotel Rauter offers free parking and a free shuttle service to the cable car for the Großglockner ski area.

“Great hotel in a lovely town”
Great hotel in the centre of town. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast, especially the omelettes. Good size room with a balcony overlooking the outside pool and a nice view of the mountains. Quality food in the attached restaurant as well.
