Overview
Converted from an historic iron works, now with chic interiors and its own restaurant, this hotel offers free parking and breakfast is included. A swimming beach on Hummelfjärden is only 200 metres away. The modern rooms come with a flat-screen TV and a rainfall shower in the private bathroom. Hotel Mathildedal also has a shared laundry room for guest use. “Great, short vacation in a beautiful environment.”
Breakfast was great, a plate with ham, cheese, bread, boiled egg, veggies, fruit, something sweet to finish it off. In addition, coffee, tea, yoghurt, porridge was offered with a friendly smile. The area and the boutique hotel was a 1850's iron works transferred to a beautiful combination where accommodations were modern but surrounding's from 1850's.

Location, location, location. Hotel Mathildedal is located really well and its location adds something to the atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was really friendly. The room was as depicted on the pictures and was quiet.

The location is perfect. Mathildedal is just beautiful and there are many things to do. Hotel room beds are great, sturdy and comfy. The hotel restaurant is cozy, idyllic.

Excellent service, delicious breakfast and very clean and quiet rooms. We really enjoyed a good night sleep here. We also did a nice hike around the lake nearby. Highly recommend this place when you stay in Mathildedal.
