“Lovely stay at Zanzibar Magic Boutique Hotel”
The staff was just wonderful, a big happy family who welcomed me straight away. Lovely location, straight at the beach with great food and beautiful rooms. The owners are just delightful and really cared about my complete stay. I would definitely come back here again!

“Disappointing”
Please be ready to hear the muezzin at 5 am in the morning. Mosquee just behind. And ongoing construction work on the left of the hotel. Be ready not to be able to rest!! Staff housing just behind the hotel rooms… And the pool is ancient age !

hotel is well located in front of the beach. park is very beautiful with a lot of vegetation. building is also nice, well integrated. rooms are specious, well arranged and clean. bathroom is nice too. personnel is helpful.

“We felt very welcome by all the Staff!”
The staff is definitely the best! Joe, Robert and Ely are such a cool guys and they are all available to help you in everything. The breakfast is very good aswell! Is a very quiet hotel for those who are looking for it. Ely makes the best Brazilian Caipirinhas!

“Nice stay.”
the rooms were lovely and comfortable with an amazing view, staff at the restaurant and bar were friendly and helpful. go there if you want a quite experience. nice beach to experience the tides. we had a great reef walk by a local tour guide on the beach.

Lovely boutique hotel with lovely staff. Very clean room and all communal areas very well looked after. All neat and clean. Breakfast with the best view. Very peaceful. Not tried the pool but was great lounging under the palm trees on the authentic looking deckchair overlooking the sea. Bliss. Limited breakfast options but enough choice for my 3 day stay. Offered packed breakfast on my departure day as I left very early, at 5am. Would definitely go back to Zanzibar Magic again!

“Perfect relaxing hotel right on the beachfront of Matemwe beach, Zanzibar”
Zanzibar Magic Boutique hotel was the perfect stop on our honeymoon to Zanzibar. The staff were so friendly, the food amazing and the location was right on the beachfront. Matemwe beach is quieter than Nungwi or kendwa but the sea was lovely to swim in.

“A sensational stay”
The actual hotel and rooms are beautiful. The food at the restaurant is divine and the waiters & waitresses were lovely. Having breakfast with the view of the beach each day was incredible. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well looked after.

Hotel was beach front and the views are spectacular from the bar area! The room was a good size and it was clean. The staff keep it running really well and they're all a great asset to the hotel. It has a small pool ample sized for the 20 room hotel. We didn't have to think about a space to sunbathe, plenty of space. There was a guy next to the hotel in a beach shack seeking tours half the price of the hotel, so don't pay hotel prices as they're almost double the price.Close to most excursions- all about an hour and a half away. Staff are really excellent and the food was so tasty and fresh. They have a brilliant chef!! We had an Anniversary cake and the staff sang to us. Was brilliant 👏

“Quiet remote hotel with amazing view and stunning beach”
Very quiet boutique hotel, just 12 rooms I think, amazing view from the room and a stunning beach. The rooms are decorated with traditional style, which I liked very much, as well as the bathroom
