We had an amazing stay at Villa Kiva. The room is spacious and very clean with sea view. There are two swimming pool and beautiful terrace. The staff were very kind and made us feel welcome. This is one of the best accomodations we have ever stayed in. 10/10 recommend

A very peaceful stay — everything was clean and quiet throughout. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, always happy to help. Breakfast was also excellent, with a good variety of dishes to choose from. A nice touch was that every evening they offered to spray insecticide in the room before bed, which we really appreciated.

“Amazing stay in Zanzibar Villa Kiva”
This is the most honest review I have probably made - the Villa is simply a paradise, wish we could have stayed longer. The staff is amazing really, the kindness, the care, the smile on their faces, really well done to everyone. Pedro, the guest relation manager exceeded our expectations, really amazing person - even before we did our check-in we had our room upgraded, which was incredible so the family could be closer. There wasnt anything to say bad about or that could be better - We absolutly recommend this Villa to anyone that wishes to stay in Zanzibar. The calm and peace from the area, the breathtaking view of the ocean, the wole Villa was so well cleaned also. The sea urchin was not a problem at all to swim, as the Villa offers appropriate shoes to walk. The food was incredible, you could see that there is customer service and caring in everything the staff does - from the cleaning staff, to kitchen and massage staff, everyone. Trully heaven. Thank you everyone! You made our stay unforgetable. Well done!

“One of my best hotel experiences ever.”
As a frequent solo traveller, I have to say that Villa Kiva was one of the best places I have ever stayed. Beautiful property, great rooms, near to my dive center, but mostly I loved all the staff. Helped me to check in at a odd time of the night and feel welcome, made sure I felt ok at all times, and fed me well. Would wholly recommend this as #1 to anyone who visits the island.

I made this reservation for my husband and son, because I stayed in Villa Kiva 4 years earlier and it was amazing. They enjoyed the hospitality and the food. The owner was very friendly and very much focused on delivering the best customer experience.

“Perfect place for peaceful and beautiful holiday”
I highly recommend this hotel for a beautiful and peaceful holiday. The staff attitude is absolutely outstanding, the rooms are comfortable, and the atmosphere is calm and welcoming. The food is excellent — definitely spend your evenings at the restaurant, where you will be warmly served and enjoy delicious meals. I truly have nothing to complain about. There are tides at the beach, but they are not extreme. The beach is right next to the hotel, looks great, and swimming is safe. It is a quiet beach with very few vendors, which makes it much more enjoyable than busier areas. The hotel has two pools and several sunbed areas to relax. Everything is clean, well maintained, and the air conditioning works perfectly. This was our favorite hotel during the trip, with the best hospitality. I also recommend booking excursions through the hotel — we had an amazing dolphin swimming experience. Highly recommended — you won’t regret it!

“Great place to unwind.”
Very friendly staff, great sand at the beach. Quite windy tought. Excellent lunch and dinner - however breakfast is average. Two pools are great and nice outdoor area.

“Amazing place and people, wonderful stay”
Loved everything! The staff is very very kind and always smiling, especially Petro who welcomed us, they really care about making you feel well and relaxed :) The place is beautiful and the location is perfect, away from the more touristic areas but still strategical to go to all the interesting places in Zanzibar. Stunning beach with coral reef. Every night they come to open the mosquito nets and spray mosquito spray, and they perfectly clean every morning. We also booked the snorkeling and dolphin swimming tour through Villa Kiva and had an amazing experience with Ali, who would dive with us and make wonderful videos. 100% recommended!! I would for sure stay here if visiting Zanzibar again

1000/10. This is incredible place. You will not regret it. Calm place, beautiful interior design, warm and kind hotel staff, really helpful manager, the best beach - wide and clean, two swimming pools, yummy food, comfy beds, yoga classes! I was in many hotel around the world and I am rather picky but this place should have the rate closer to 10 for sure! I liked it so much that I decided to come back here for a second stay. In Matemwe - the best place to stay for a couple of nights!
