We had a wonderful stay at Just Heavens Apartment in Zanzibar. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt warm and welcoming. The owner, Ivancy, truly goes the extra mile to make guests feel at home—always attentive, helpful, and genuinely caring about our comfort. It made a big difference and added a very personal touch to our stay. The apartment itself has a great ambiance—clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged to create a relaxing environment. The overall hospitality was excellent, and we always felt safe thanks to the secure surroundings. If there’s one small suggestion, it would be to further secure the first-floor railing, especially for families traveling with toddlers. It would provide additional peace of mind for parents. Overall, a fantastic place to stay in Zanzibar, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, safety, and a homely experience.

We had such a beautiful stay at Just Heaven Apartments 💛 One of the most special moments of our trip was the incredible night BBQ they organised right on the beach for us. Everything was perfect, from the warm, welcoming atmosphere to the sound of the ocean under the stars. Having a personal chef preparing fresh, delicious food just for us made it feel truly unforgettable and so unique. It wasn’t just a meal, it was an experience we’ll always remember. The team went above and beyond to make everything feel relaxed, personal, and magical. On an arrival, the gentleman who greeted me was lovely and polite. l then was surprised with an upgrade 😀 l had access to the beach front from my bedroom, the balcony was massive and it was perfect for my early and nighttime meditations 🧘🏿‍♀️ The fragrance of the room when l stepped inside smelt delicious, the bedroom was beautifully decorated with the towels and flowers, everything about it was perfect..the room was brilliantly clean the bathroom was very clean and looked amazing. I have traveled all over the world and have stayed in many places, and this has been my favorite so far. Walking out to the beach from your bedroom is a wonderful experience. Ignacy and his wife were great hosts. Ignacy was very generous and considerate he went out of his way to drop me to the supermarket on a few occasions. He also offered to take me to a few night spots, which was fabulous for me because l am a bit of a night owl. The club being outside on the deck was amazing. The beach in front of the resort is beautiful but you have to be very careful of the round spikey sea eggs and the best time to go in the ocean is in the earliest part of the day, before the tide goes back out.. Overall my stay he was magnificent, the hosts were lovely, the staff at the front desk and the house keeping were all amazing, a special shout out too the lady chef who cooked the crepes everyday they were very delicious thank you for the extras..l would definitely love to come back in the very near future with a significant other the next time. You will not be disappointed choosing this resort. The name just heaven fits perfectly👌🏿 Being right next to the village is a bonus as you get to see and experience how the locals live in great harmony with one another, you also have the opportunity to purchase some beautiful artifacts from them. Restaurants are near by, walking distance my favorite one was chiche, the ambiance is lovely. I highly recommend this resort, l would personally give it 10/10

“Amazing stay!!!”

The beachfront location, the design of the apartment, the fabulous breakfast in the room and the communication from the hosts were all phenomenal! Being able to make my own coffee and sit on the terrace to watch the sunrise each morning and the beach come to life was so special and the couple who own the place are lovely! The attention to detail really is evident everywhere.

“Peaceful paradise in comfortable apartments right on the beach!”

A hidden gem of a property located in one of the very few non-touristy places in Zanzibar. This is a new property and it’s been designed to a very high standard. We had a family apartment which was a perfect set up for our 3 kids and us. Open the doors and you’re right on the beach! The staff and owners made our stay so comfortable; they were quick to respond to any questions or activities we wanted to arrange and make our life as easy as possible! The free laundry was a great help too. Lots of attention to the details that matter. You won’t regret staying here!

The Apartments are right at the beach (first row). During high tide you can almost step directly into the ocean. The interieur is great and has everything you need. The staff is super friendly and the owners took care of all our needs themselves. They always responded very fast and i.e. organised different transportations for us (cheaper than usual). Right outside is a great restaurant (Hebe) and a place for excursions / diving.

“Calm and relaxed stay right on the beach”

Really enjoyed the stay at Just Heaven Apartments. Breakfast was brought to my room every morning and Ignacy was really helpful with make travel arrangements or if I had any other questions. The Wi-Fi was also stable in comparison to other locations I have stayed at so far. Thanks also to the staff for making one feel welcome.

At Just Heaven, that’s exactly how you feel from the moment you arrive. The property sits right on a beautiful sandy beach with turquoise ocean views, just a few minutes by boat from Mnemba Island — an ideal spot for peace, nature, and the true Zanzibar vibe. The terrace view is breathtaking — you can watch the ocean, the tides, and everyday beach life for hours. Pure magic every morning and makes every morning start with a smile. The manager, Shadrak, is incredibly caring and attentive, and the owners make you feel completely at home. Breakfasts delivered to the room were delicious and generous. Everything is spotlessly clean, and the apartments are spacious and comfortable. Each one has a fridge stocked with drinks, a coffee machine, a kettle, and a good supply of coffee and tea — perfect touches that make the stay even better. Guests can use a swimming pool at the neighboring property and choose from many nearby restaurants serving excellent local food. The team can easily arrange any trip — and they’ll also organize a smooth airport transfer. We felt truly cared for here — a place we can’t wait to return to! 🌴💙

Staff and proximity to beach

Well equipped room and very flexible, helpful owner and staff.

The room is nicely built with new finishing. The bed is very comfortable The place is very quiet. If you look for somewhere to chill and relax The restaurants in the area are great with lots of local Swahili cuisine The managers are thoughtful and present to help even at very late nights

Ignacy, as the owner, is hands-on when it comes to customer relationships. He is always making sure that guests are having a comfortable stay. Shadrack, as the manager, is very approchable and helpful in everything that the guests would need. Although the place is still a work in progress, you get the best value for your money. Right next door is the best local restaurant in the area called Chichi.

Top notch ocean view, I would definitely recommend to stay there. Great location, stuff and clean apartments.
