Staying at Vanina Villas felt like stepping into a private paradise. The property is dreamy, featuring a quiet swimming pool and a stunning beach right at your doorstep. Our villa was incredibly comfortable, and the food at the restaurant was consistently excellent. A huge thank you to Myriam and Hervé for their warm hospitality and for making us feel like part of the family. We will definitely be back!

“Relax and enjoy life - surfing”
My two adult daughters and I want peace and harmony after a roundtrip - and we got it and more during our 6-days stay. We stayed at the room with sea view and only a nice sound of the sea. Clean and plenty of space. The food - with a touch of France - was excellent. Always small surprises. Starting the day with a plate of fresh fruits. Ready for a day at the beach or by the swimming pool. The decoration of the reception, restaurant and the atmosphere (shoes are not allowed) was magic. The service with love, care and important for us humor. We also like the two dogs ;-) We didn’t surf - but we need a reasons to come back one day. We got massage twice and it was very professional. We celebrated New Year 2026 and it was like a kick start of the year. Warm recommendation from us if you need to relax and enjoy life 🙏🏻

Lovely service from a great team, Miriam and John's warmth and friendliness shine through. Our room facing the sea was perfect, and our terraced seating was all we needed. It was a 10-second stroll to the sunloungers on the beach, but the pool in the beautiful, well tended gardens was a haven of tranquility too. Miariam was able to arrange an excellent massage for me in the garden, it was 75 minutes of bliss. The breakfasts were amazing and certainly set us up for the day. Sitting in the comfy lounge area watching the sun go down with a cocktail is something that we will fondly remember. We also liked the no-shoe policy in the restaurant and lounge area, which added to the chilled vibe.

Simply perfect. There was our last three days in Sri Lanka and it was more than expected. Beautiful hotel with amazing tropical garden one step from the ocean. Super clean, very stylish, better than in photos. Nice staff, good food and coctails and the nicest hosts. Dear Myriam and Jean thank you for everything, we really loved it!

“Perfect place to unwind.”
We spent a week here after busy travels and it's a fantastic place to stay and relax. It's run by the really lovely and sociable couple, Myriam and Jean, who are the perfect hosts, immediately making us feel at home. It was lovely to get to know them too. The restaurant staff were exceptional, Kumara and Pati, who looked after us all and made our two boys feel special. The grounds are really well looked after and the rooms are just right, very comfortable and clean. We were next to the pool (lovely too) and found that we had it to ourselves most of the time. The location is very quiet and away from the busy-ness of some of the other beaches, that suited us perfectly, and everything is only a short tuk tuk away. Breakfast was great and we had lunch and dinner on many occasions and the food was always really good, especially the specials. We had surfing lessons with Jean and he was the perfect teacher. We all managed to stand up! A big thank you from all of us to Jean and Myriam. We'll see you again in the future!

“Wonderful quiet place to relax”
This place is amazing! The staff is so friendly, the property is modern and clean, the food is very good and the owners are very friendly and nice people! You can enjoy the beach, take a surf lesson or rent a board if you want, or have a swim in the pool. We enjoyed staying every second. Highly recommended!

“Paradise if you’re looking to relax in a tropical paradise”
The property is beautifully designed and the build quality of the villas and rooms is very high. It’s located on an uncrowded beach with few houses and great waves. The owners are the best and most experienced hosts we’ve ever had and made us feel at home and welcome from the first minute we arrived. The staff is super friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel in paradise. Bonus: a superb pool area and heavenly yet affordable massages and great food.

“oasis in front of the beach”
The location is just perfect, in front of a beach paradise surrounded by coconut trees, close to the Matara center but at the same time in a peaceful area, perfect to rest after a day of adventures. The gardens and the pool are so amazing, the villa was super comfortable and well decorated, just like the whole hotel. We had incredible meals in front of the beach. Sri Lanka is so amazing, people always with a smile and willing to help. Is a safe country to visit, with an incredible culture and really nice food. Thank you so much to Myriam and Jean for receiving us so well and for all the incredible tips and organized activities about Sri Lanka. We spent wonderful moments in this hotel and we will miss everything so much.
