We loved our 2 week stay at the surf lodge and wish we could have stayed even longer. The location is amazing, just steps to 2 amazing surf breaks, yoga in the garden, delicious food and a huge menu to choose from, but the best part are the people. The staff is amazingly friendly and welcoming, we met so many incredible people. We will be back for sure.

“Peaceful and relaxing stay at the Surf Lodge Madiha”

We really enjoyed staying at the Surf Lodge. The location is so peaceful and only a little walk from the beach. All the guys working there are very friendly and always did their best for us. They also helped us in organizing external activities and arranging scooters rental. The breakfast is absolutely delicious. We could fully relax and hope to come back soon!

Staff were so welcoming and accommodating. Each made the effort to introduce themselves and get to know us. Food at the cafe was also great! We had a really great stay and highly recommended!!

We spent an amazing time at Madiha Surf Lodge in Matara. The team was super cool and very helpful. They also run the fancy café which belongs to the accommodation. The breakfast we had there every morning was so delicious and healthy. There are a couple of other activities they offer and which can easily be booked or attended (e. g. yoga lessons in the garden, surf lessons). The location right on the beach was perfect, and our open-style room was very comfortable. Overall, great vibes - big thanks to the guys at the Surf Lodge!

The friendliest and most attentive people we’ve encountered in Sri Lanka. Everyone was super nice all the time. The garden was beautiful and it’s very close to the ocean and surf spots. The café from the accommodation had delicious food and matcha with oat milk. Very highly recommended!

“What a fabulous place to stay!”

I spent a week in the two-bedroom apartment with my 70-year-old parents on their first trip to Sri Lanka and we could not have asked for a better experience. Chethana and his team are absolutely incredible—the hospitality, the food, the location, the yoga and HIIT classes… what more could you want? Every detail was taken care of with such warmth and care. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. And as if that wasn’t enough, there were sea turtles swimming just off the beach at the end of the garden. Thank you, team—you truly aced it!
