Great guesthouse with lovely staff. Excellent location just 20 metres to the beaches. Lots of restaurants around. Really good Indian restaurant upstairs with excellent butter chicken. We stayed for 3 nights, went to Tissa and came back and stayed another 2 nights. Highly recommend.

“A place to be when in Polhena”
Staying at Seek the Sun made our time in Polhena so much better. The place has an intimate atmosphere with three rooms only and a restaurant upstairs offering Indian food. The rooms are immaculate, white bedding and towels. The staff very friendly. One of the best stays during our Sri Lankan trip.

The rooms are very nice and clean. First time I had wall-art in Sri Lanka. The owner and staff are super friendly and reliable and there's an Indian restaurant upstairs which is also very recommended. Ask Dominic for anything... scooter, tours, etc.. He'll arrange in no time. Will come again.

Seek the Sun is a great place to stay and the owner Dominic is super nice and very helpful! He arranged Surfing, Dinner, Excursions and various other things for us, all very cheap and great quality. The hotel is very clean with comfy rooms, good AC and clean bathroom - overall a great atmosphere! The hotel is 1 minute from the beach, you see the water from the hotel. The adjacent restaurant is also very good with tasty high quality food, don’t miss out on eating here during your stay!!

“Amazing! Clean rooms :D”
The rooms and bathroom were super clean, the place is fairly new so everything is so nice Dominic was a great host and always attentive to our needs, for such a reasonable price this place is worth every penny ! Literally next door to Polhena beach and they also have Indian food, they have nice cafes down the road too Highly recommend seek the sun!

“Super clean, super friendly accommodation in a great location.”
The property was in a lovely quiet, conveniently located, spot in between Madiha and Polhena. It is very nicely decorated and super clean. The staff were super friendly and the owner went out of his way to help with anything we needed and even offered to help us navigate the reef for a surf.

Nice clean and cool rooms. The location is great and Dominic is very helpful! The food at the Restaurant is delicious😜 Can highly recommend to stay here :)
