I loved everything about this place. The room is unique and comfortable, and it feels like living in the jungle. You can easily get there by bus. For me, it’s one of the best places to stay in Matara. There’s a quiet beach right in front of the hotel with no people. You can still reach the main spots around Matara in about 20 minutes. The host family is very kind and welcoming, and the breakfast is really good. There’s no AC, but the fan works perfectly. I slept well and didn’t wake up from the heat, unlike other places I stayed. The WiFi is also good.

The breakfast was super fresh and tasty. They catered for gluten free, which was amazing! The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Gave us recommendations for where to see the turtles. Wildlife out the back of the tree house was a great place to see monkeys and birds. Although the kettle wasn’t in our room for check in, the host was able to source one and give us the tea and coffee too. Hosts were super attentive to our likes and dislikes for breakfast. They let me use their fridge to store our drinks.

We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation. The grounds are very nice, there's plenty of nature, and we even saw monkeys. The hosts are extremely friendly, fulfilled our every wish, and helped us tremendously with planning the rest of our trip. We highly recommend this place to all travelers and would love to visit another time!

We had an amazing time at Seasons 4 in Matara. The place is surrounded by nature, super close to the beach, and just feels calm and right from the first moment. Hospitality here is something else. We didn’t just stay somewhere — we actually connected. Great conversations, honest insights, and a lot of warmth that made us feel truly welcome. Mornings were special: great breakfast (seriously, a highlight!) and monkeys casually hanging out on the veranda, starting the day their way while we started ours with coffee and smiles. The hospitality of the owner is amazing. Always there to help you with a smile, not a question is too much to ask. The breakfast was amazing and a lot! I love the tea and the terrace giving you a jungle feeling.

“A very pleasant stay”

A tree house with a balcony, you can see monkeys and other animals every day. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable. It’s quiet, even though it’s located near a road. The beach in front of the hotel is not suitable for swimming due to big waves, but the owner gave us recommendations as to where we can go. Breakfast was also delicious, Sri Lankan, changing up every day. Overall it was a very nice stay and we would definitely stay again.

had an amazing stay at Seasons 4. Buddhika our host is very kind and helpful with all of our needs. He helped my friend arrive as a last minute guest and was always accommodating and contactable. The room was very clean and felt homely. We loved sitting on the balcony drinking tea and watching the monkeys :) would definitely recommend staying here

Beautiful location at the edge of the jungle. It was raining when we stayed there so we sadly didn't get to meet any monkeys on the balcony though.. The owner was very helpful, speaks great English, arranged an early breakfast and tuktuk ride for our departure. It's about 40 minutes walking to the dondra lighthouse which has great bathing spots and very scenic beaches.

Location is good, room is amazing, host and his family is superfriendly, if u need a room inside the jungle, you should choose here and ocean is 2 min walking. Breakfast are amazing also

I had an excellent stay at the place. Very kind, helpful and empathy people. The owner and his family made me feel like a member of the family and at home. Lovely rustic and forest side room with visit of monkeys sometimes. 😍🐵 The place is quite, silent and just across the road to the beach. They offer nice breakfast and meals with fair prices. I got the surfboard, went surfing very close to the place and had lot of fun. I highly recomend Season Four Cabana Mini Jungle. They helped me with all services! Surf, tuktuk of his brother, massage, etc.. Thanks ! Very nice stay in Matara. 👍👌✌💚

We had amazing stay in Seasons four! This place have an authentic atmosphere, you can see a lot of animals around and you can feel like in middle of a jungle for a while. Host and whole family, was very kind, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, lots of fruits and Sri Lankan specials. You can order also dinner in accommodation and we can recommend it, we had there definitely the best curry in Sri Lanka. In accommodation is also possible rent a scooter, which was very helpful for us.

The hospitality was great, the food is excellent, the wifi very fast. The room is exactly what was advertised. Bonus: The dog is too cute...
