I spent two fantastic weeks at Seadina. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly our host, Chaamin—he was amazing! From day one, he took care of everything for us. When my wife needed a quick hospital visit on a Sunday after getting a spike in her eye, he arranged it immediately. He also sorted out tuk-tuks, laundry, drivers, surfboards, and many more - all at great prices. Thanks to him, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. And, of course, we can’t forget the delicious breakfasts and the endless coffee whenever we needed it!

“Simple rooms in a prime location.”

A clean and simple room in a prime location just a few feet from the beach. Our host was wonderfully kind and friendly. Breakfast was enormous - really enormous! If you like a big breakfast, this is the place. (Bob's restaurant next door is also very good)

“Exceptional customer care”

As all previous reviews have said Chaamin is an exceptional host he really can’t do enough for you. The breakfast is a banquet so beware if like us you don’t eat much!! He always makes tea/coffee whenever you like and gives you nice little snacks. There is plenty of water available and Chaamin will also take care of any laundry. There are plenty of restaurants around but ‘Bobs’ next door is great with tasty home cooked food at reasonable prices and cold beer and gin and tonics. We took beers from here to the beach and paid at dinner time! If you come out of Seadina and turn right walk towards the Drs House there is an ATM and opposite the beach where there are a few beds under canopies that are a 1000 rupees for the day for two and the turtles are just to the right of this area(they are huge too!) This was a great stay very relaxing with exceptional customer care thank you Chaamin.

“Amazing stay with very kind hosts”

We loved this place! Extremely nice host who is very thoughtful and generous, always trying to help you and make you enjoy your time there. He always offered us tee or coffee with little treats and he organised a driver for us to get to Ella. The rooms were very clean and comfy and the breakfast was amazing! Also very good location close to the beach and you have your own little terrace, we would definitely come again! 🌞

Great location close to different beaches and all the restaurants, yet far enough of the party zone so you can sleep well. Nicest host and so generous, he welcomed us with fresh juices and food, and did the same before we left! Also drinking water is free as well as snorkelling gear and bicycles, which are great to go to Madiha surf point or Polhena beach :) The room is large and comfortable, so is the bathroom, and there’s a terrace with shade. We felt at home and had a lovely stay ❤️

Amazing! The host was the most friendly Sri Lankan people that we meet, the service was great! He offered us welcome drink with snacks when we arrived, and showed us all the things that we need to pay attention in the homestay and the area. The next day morning, we didn’t have enough cash to buy the 5USD breakfast, but he was very kind to offer us again with lots of snacks. I highly recommended this place, very close to beach and nice restaurants, the homestay offered umbrellas, beach tower, snookering masks for free as well!

As already mentioned, the owner is super kind and helpful (he was great in helping us with getting the bus onto our next destination). Breakfast was big and delicious. The room has anything you need and the courtyard was very useful during rainy day. Location is quite:only very few restaurants but for us it was perfect as we don't like crowds, and you can go to Mirissa by tuk tuk.

We loved absolutely everything, the rooms are amazing, everything is super clean, the location is perfect, 1 min to the most amazing beach you’ve ever seen. Chaamin, the owner is one of the kindest people we have ever met, he is pure kindness and joy. He will take care of anything you need and cook you the best food you have ever eaten! You also get Free snorkeling, bicycles and laundry! He also organized everything for us to go whale watching! We are a couple that travels the world and we can wholeheartedly say this is the best experience we have ever had. Chaamin, we miss you and dream about coming back again!

“Incredible hospitality just more than perfect”

I have to admit that the stay by Seadina Coral Home was the best 4 days during our whole 14 days experience in Sri Lanka and I think the best 5 hotels which I have ever been in my life, believe I travel a lot 😅. Chami offers way more than any 5* hotel. I can understand now why people extend the holiday here and if not next booking we would definitely stay by Chami longer and we absolutely regret! The host is so gentle, hospitable and taking care person. The room was incredibly equipped with more than we need and also was so clean with good smell. The breakfast was huge that we had to leave portion for later 😅it seemed that it was for whole day. The shakes were gigantic🥝🥭🫐 Chami also offers tours, scooters rent, free bike rent but he does not insist on people to take any tours, in other places unfortunately we experienced that. The hotel has great locations, close to two beaches, restaurants, supermarkets and many different facilities. Thank you for everything 🙏
