“Good place to stay if arriving late or getting an early train”
Location. I had a 6.00 am train and the station is opposite. Very clean, basic accommodation.

“Nice host nice stay”
Nice small clean room, clean and pretty quiet. At night there are some mozzies but theres a UV lamp that really helps a lot as well as the mozzie net. The host and his daughter were very nice and helpful and helped with all little inconveniences.

“Good host and convenient location. But open-plan living layout is frustrating, as are the mosquitos.”
Handy place to stay right opposite the train station, and its also not too far to walk into town, and to the beach/Niwala Ganga/Fort area, where all the attractions are. There is a fridge at the hostel, and the shower was ok, but was sort of exposed to the outside (but still private, don't worry). The beds in the dorm had mosquito nets, and there were fans. Comfy enough. The host is a nice guy who speaks good English. He helped me organise my trips, and let me keep my bag at the hostel and take a shower after checking out. Easy to contact and friendly. Really nice and caring hosts, super clean and very good value. Location next to the railway is perfect. Just 15 min walk to the beach.

“Sweet little gem”
I loved that the hostel was super close to the train station. I was meet at the door by the friendly Nelly who showed me around the hostel and answers all my questions. I was made to fill very welcome the entire time I was there.

I stayed one night in a private room which was very clean and nice. Also the bathroom and the whole accommodation was very clean and good. It’s right in front of the railway station which is perfect if you need to take a train. The hosts are very friendly and polite. If I had any questions I could contact them at any time.

Bevin was a fantastic host. Room was exceptionally clean, bed was comfortable. Price was very reasonable. Conveniently located with lots to do and places to eat in the surrounding area.
