“Great location and nice place with kitchen all to yourself”

Great location, short walking distance to beach and behind the supermarket. We loved having our own kitchen (which was well equipped) inside the room. Was good value!

This is a big villa with two double beds and a fully equipped kitchen. A nice private terrace is also available. Location is great: it is close to shops, restaurants and the beach. Hot water is always available.

Location, size, facilities and owner are all excellent! Also love the cat who comes to say hi 👋

Great location, good value for money

The family who ownes the place are just fantastic, very friendly and exceptionally kind. They allowed for a late check out free of charge as our flight was at night. The garden that they are developing is beautiful. Monkeys, peakocks and crazy tiny squirrels are just part of the setting and fun to watch. The house is a 3 min walk from the beach. There's a small shop and plenty of restaurants and bars a minute away, yet the house is off the main road. It's a bit dark inside, but we pretty much only slept there so it didn't matter. There plenty of lighting throughout the room too. The terrace is lovely to eat out or read. The kitchen is fully equipped and comfortable.

“Comfortable, clean, conveniently located”

Comfortable and cosy studio apartment super close to a range of facilities. The house is 2 mins from decent coffee, ATM, cafes, mini-mart but still set back from the road so it feels peaceful. It's a really easy 3-4 mins walk to the beach. I was able to cook simple meals on the hob, and eat my breakfast every morning watching the birds and peacocks. Hosts stay in a separate house next door - they were super lovely and very responsive.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful and comfortable property hosted by Gayashan and his family. It’s a short walking distance to the beach, shops, and great local restaurants - everything you need is close by. The house was spacious for two, with a big comfy bed, well-working AC, a large bathroom, and a nice shaded front porch to relax. The setting is surrounded by nature, with monkeys passing through the trees and peacocks living next door - which we found really lovely! Gayashan was incredibly welcoming and lives right next door, so he’s always around if you need anything. The WiFi works fine for browsing, but was a bit unstable at times - we ended up using mobile data for calls and streaming without any issue.

lovely villa with pretty terrace and lots of plants in a brilliant location v close to shop/money exchange and beach. owner is next door and very friendly/helpful - he kindly looked after our bags for a few hours when we had to check out. would happily stay there again - in fact we are already planning our trip again next year!

“Place with privacy very close to Hirikiteya Beach”

Walking distance to Hirikiteya beach and a lot of hip places to eat. A small supermarket and ATM are also right there. The place was clean and while small, had everything we needed. The terrace is nice.

Perfect place for our stay in Hiriketiya - wish it was longer! Room was perfect, had all the facilities we needed and a good shower. Location was ideal, quietly tucked away but a stones throw from a shop, restaurants and the beach. Thank you!
