Great view with the serene atmosphere of being close to the ocean and nature, friendly host

“Just blissful!”

We were so delighted with our stay here and it was hard to leave. The location on the lighthouse peninsula was gorgeous with a sea breeze that kept the mosquitos away. We loved the wooden decks out over the water to eat our delicious meals. The beds were comfortable and rooms look out into the water. The ac did a good job in the heat. Dilanga was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. We honestly couldn’t fault it and would love to come back again.

Amazing location right under the lighthouse on a beautiful little bay. Some decent coral so bring your snorkel and close to surfing beaches. But best of all is the lovely family who run this place, who gave us such a warm welcome and helped us with everything. The rooms are very clean and nice - as good as any hotel and the food on offer in the characterful Tree restaurant overlooking the bay is delicious.

This is a beautiful accommodation right on the seafront with a small sandy beach in front. The place has been designed with great attention to detail – with swings, hammocks, sun loungers, and two small wooden terraces where you can enjoy delicious food while listening to the waves below. Dilanga is a warm and very helpful person who gave us excellent advice and assisted with all sorts of organizational matters. A wonderful place to chill and relax. We truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you again for your wonderful hospitality!

Our host Dilanga was the best. A small, beautiful and peaceful place, probably the best you will find in the south! Food was amazing and people too! Would definitely recommend staying here!

This was a peaceful place, located in a quiet bay. It’s beautifully situated with sea views and next to a restaurant where you can relax in different spots and enjoy good food, or take a short walk to the lighthouse. On weekdays, the small beach was nicely quiet as well. The staff ares extremely friendly, the rooms are clean, I can truly recommend this place. Excellent value for money, a nice place to wind down a bit.

Such a lovely special place by the beach. Their little restaurant had great views over the beach where you can relax. Wonderful fresh breakfasts, and extremely well managed by the most wonderful family.

My stay at Light House Beach Home was absolutely amazing! The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming—we only stayed one night but truly wished we had booked longer. When we arrived late, the owner greeted us so warmly, even upgraded our room, and personally helped carry our luggage from the car. The room itself was cozy with a breathtaking view of the beach, and waking up to that view the next morning was unforgettable. Breakfast was another highlight: a delicious spread of pancake, omelette, fresh fruit salad, tea/coffee, and a freshly pressed juice, all enjoyed with the stunning beach right in front of us. We were also offered a late checkout, which was wonderful. Afterwards, we relaxed at the Tree Juice Bar next door (run by the same family), and that was just as lovely! I highly recommend staying here—it’s the perfect mix of warm hospitality, comfort, and an unbeatable beachside atmosphere.

Room was small and compact but clean and cosy, I didn't particularly need a big room but if that is what you are after maybe look elsewhere. There was very little going on in the local area so changed our booking to just one night rather than two on arrival. Also it advertises a private beach. There is definitely not a private beach, there is a very busy cove used by locals which you can access, but it's not beach or put a towel down and relax as you'll share the small space with fishing boats, local families and there is very little "beach". Mosquito net was provided and Aircon in the room. An awful lots of ants in the bathroom and on the balcony but otherwise the room met our needs. You can see and hear the sea from the balcony. Host & family just left us to do our own thing which was nice, but the were friendly and extremely laid back.
