When my laptop suffered a complete system crash, Lucky immediately recommended a trusted friend who fixed it within just a couple of days — a lifesaver. His place itself is fantastic: right next to the beach, close enough to Matara for convenience, yet far enough away to enjoy peace, quiet, and a real break from tourist crowds. If you are looking for homestay where you'd feel like the member of family, this is the place. Lucky and his lovely family are very nice people. Owner speaks very good english and share many tips for holiday in srilanka (what a pitty we didnt met him at the beginning of our holiday). Lucky's daughter was taken care of our 5y old daughter, she really loves her and miss her from then. I recommend to pay fee for kitchen, it is super equipped with everything you would need. Whole house is super clean, even outside you could literaly eat from the floor :). Location is nice as it is few steps from the beach. Rooms are quiet, no noice from the street.

Exceptional! This accommodation was recommended to us by friends, and we can definitely recommend it as well! We were warmly welcomed upon arrival. Lucky, the host, speaks very good English, so we were able to learn a lot about the country and its people. He helped us with every question and gave us many useful tips. The entire accommodation is very clean and tidy and is located just a few meters from the beach. The food is especially outstanding! We had the best coconut roti and the most delicious dinner here! Thank you for everything!

“GREAT OWNER”

The owner Lucky is probably the most honest person I have met in Sri Lanka. His pure soul is something different. He arranges whatever you need - taxi, safi, trips - just check on board outside the apartment. He has lot of contacts over the whole island, we have been like 3 hours from his appartment and he was able to arrange taxi back to his location in 5 minutes - we had to get back due to floodings and train cancelations in Ella. I had also some infection in ear, so Lucky took me to doctor, we didnt have to wait there hours and this helped me a lot. If I have not met this guy, I dont know what I would do. Biggest props to you Lucky, see you soon!

I really can't recommend this place highly enough, the host is incredibly friendly and a very genuine man. The room was perfect and so clean, the bed was huge and incredibly comfy. Ac was very good too., the kitchen is great. It really did feel like a homestay. I recommend this place to anyone coming through the area.

Property was so so clean and Lucky was amazing, can’t recommend this place enough.

Lucky and his wife are the best hosts you can imagine! They do everything to make your stay as good as possible. Everything is very clean, they have a little kitchen you can use, space for your wet clothes, outdoor shower, etc... really everything you need! The breakfast was incredible good and very much. Also had dinner once, which was also really delicious and more than enough. The beach is only 1 min away by foot. I stayed there twice during my stay in Sri Lanka. It's the best place, when you are in SK Town. I will definitely come back! Thank you Lucky!

“Laki and his family run the nicest homestay you will find!”

The room was really clean and cozy. Laki and his family were so kind and helpful. There is a kitchen for guests to use which was nice. Overall you will feel welcomed and cared for. The breakfast was plenty and really tasty. The wifi was really fast and reliable. Laki told us, he recently upgraded to an unlimited data plan and it works like a treat!

Our stay at Guillet Beach Home was amazing. We loved staying at the family, who took very good care of us. The location is very near the beach, the room was big and comfy, and the breakfast and diner were amazing. Recently, they've improved their wifi, it worked well! Enjoy your stay here, you'll love it.

Hosts are the kindest people we’ve ever met! We also got a tuk tuk ride to our next accomodation. Room was clean, cozy, with fan and A/C as well.
