“A quiet secluded spot, good value”

Fort Sea View Hotel is a budget option, extremely good value for money. We enjoyed the easy access to the beach front with umbrella and seating catching the sea breeze and sunset. There is also well placed inside and outside seating for relaxation. The quickest way to Mirissa is via the beach to access restaurants etc. The host is very friendly and approachable. A good choice for a quiet secluded spot.

This little gem is right at the beach, at walking distance to the busstation and within the Dutch ford quarter is great! Destroyed by the tsunami but rebuild by the very friendly owner, it has a nice sitting area, a simple kitchen and the sound of the waves in your ears, very relaxing. I could borrow a bike and off I went! Thanks!

Super nice host, talked a lot with him. no ac but it’s totally fine. Nice place to chill. There is room for improvement in terms of cleanliness but it’s fine given that the price is not high.

Owner is Friendly. Treated us very well. So far to National Shrine, Matara. Room and attached bathroom was very clean. Bathroom built in a little space but super cute and clean. There was a calm environment. No mosquitoes. You can enjoy the beautiful sea view and wind from the room. Value for the room charges.

Personnel was lovely and flexible for checkout time, a collective kitchen is available if needed. Room, sheets and towel were clean.

The room was clean beds were neatly arranged and it was quite sapicous the owner was very friendly, supportive he even told us to use his kitchen if we need any time . Defenitly the worth the money that we spent on the room.

It is on the ocean shore, literally!) The owner is so so friendly and caring, he gave us bigger room and bring one more fan, drive me to the supermarket because shops are little bit far from the place. Hotel is perfect for calm ocean rest far from crowds, close to the nature. In the rooms sockets are not European type, but the owner showed us lifehack how to make it fit)) Also the place has common kitchen and fridge The atmosphere is wonderful My favourite hotel on Sri Lanka 💎

Clean. Very responsive owner. There was no blanket, towel, but we asked and got it. Owner drive to the town to buy toilet paper for us. We used kitchen fridge to keep our beer cold. Nice place to work (offline) or relax in the yard outdoors. Beach in 50 m.

The house is on the beach. Great owner.. clean place.. all what you need.. He let me to use his bicycle for free.. Instead of two nights I stayed over a week..

The location is close to the beach, but the beach is only suitable for walking and possibly practicing yoga or sports. A small garden where you can relax.
