The owner cancelled our reservation on the morning we were meant to check in. We arrived at the property from the airport and He said that he got another booking via Air BnB, so we were left on New Years Eve with a place to stay. Very disappointing and extremely difficult to try find a place to stay. Not really wanted on our first day in Sri Lanka and after a long travel.

“Absolutely Stunning Stay at Amazing Villa in Madiha!”
Our experience at Amazing Villa in Madiha was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful surroundings, elegant design, and warm hospitality. The villa is tastefully decorated, blending romantic comfort with tropical charm — and every corner feels like it was made for relaxation. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and airy, with beautiful views of the lush garden seating area. Waking up to the sounds of birds and the sea. serene, and perfect for unwinding at any time of day. Location-wise, it couldn't be better. A short walk brings you to the beach and some of Madiha’s best cafes, surf spots, and yoga places. Yet, the villa itself is quiet and private — your own little paradise away from the crowds. If you want to have a true Ayurvedic massage, there is a perfect place called "Talking Fingers Spa" (only 200 m from the villa) The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Whether it was arranging a tuk-tuk, organizing a massage, or preparing a delicious local breakfast, they made everything feel effortless. This villa is a dream for couples, families, or groups of friends looking for a perfect getaway in southern Sri Lanka. Highly recommend —it we didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to come back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“One of the best places in Madiha / Polhena”
The place is quite close to the beach road and the beach. It's in a very quiet area with a lot of trees and birds. We stayed in the upstair double room with balcony, which had a good view and the villa's kitchen and common rooftop were nearby. The room itself is very spacious, with a high roof, comfortable bed, AC, a mini fridge, and an attached bathroom. We were pleasantly surprised with how clean and spacious the room was. We were welcomed with chilled king coconut, which was very refreshing. The breakfasts were quite good and filling. The room's balcony has enough space and good chairs to sit out and enjoy the weather and the view even when it's raining. This is one of the few places in Madiha and Polhena that have AC rooms. Good host, good staff. The overall experience was very satisfying.

“Not so Amazing”
Location close to beaches and tourist spots. Bed very comfortable. Staff friendly but English limited. Breakfast was a good choice of food and plenty of it. Room clean and windows could open to let in the sea breeze.

Great hosts who will ensure your time in Sri Lanka is enjoyable. This was our second time at Amazing Villa, and can't wait to come back again. Madiha village is every bit a quiet coastal village as you can imagine. Great waves and beautiful beaches. Ruwan and his family truly treated us to a wonderful time. Highly recommend the breakfast spread at this property. The quality of produce they get is top draw.
