Camilla is the perfect host to provide help and good tips concerning activities. The place is absolutely clean, we had the biggest and bed of our entire trip and we enjoyed some sloth activity in Camilla‘s garden.

Very nice, friendly and helpful owners. Laundry service available. Pool on the site. Lots of greenery. Huge comfortable bed, big bathroom. Everything is like new, well maintained and working fine. Small private terrace. Beach and shop nearby. Free parking spot.

Good and large bed, silent and good A/C, everything very clean, nice breakfast, nice pool, close to nice restaurant and Matapalo beach, saw a lot of red macaws and other birds around the accomodation and even a sloth in the tree next to the accomodation (learned from the owner his name is Fred). Super friendly and flexible owners. Very nice stay.

Excellent stay in Raya appartments - very clean and confortable place. Perfect to travel around and close to a small supermarket as well. The owners were of very good advice to find a surf school and eat around. They also advised to have a hike in Hacienda Baru nearby which proved way more quiet than Manuel Antonio.

Our stay at this beautiful accommodation in Matapalo was simply fantastic! From the very first moment, we felt welcome, and the hosts were super friendly and helpful. The accommodation is just a short walk from the beach. The surrounding area and the village itself are lovely and perfect for relaxation – at the same time, we were able to spot some amazing wildlife, such as macaws and sloths. It is conveniently located between Manuel Antonio and Uvita, making it easy to explore both areas. The rooms are spacious, elegantly furnished, and of the highest quality. Everything was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The hosts provided excellent tips for excursions and activities in the area. You can truly feel that they run this place with passion and dedication! Breakfast is freshly prepared every morning based on a selection of options, accompanied by a small bowl of fruit and freshly brewed coffee. We can 100% recommend this accommodation! If you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful, and nature-inspired stay, this is the perfect place for you. We would definitely come back!

We were here for three nights and the other seven apartments were mostly occupied at the same time. The design of the building was unsual - one long single storey with dividers between each apartment which allowed for private patios for each. As well as a table and chairs, each apartment had a couple of unusual, comfortable, hanging hammock chairs, behind which was a pretty garden area. The bathroom, air conditioning and wifi all worked well and overall the bedrooms were very comfortable and quiet. A decent breakfast was provided for you each morning, right outside your apartment which was very convenient.

“Clean, spacious, comfy and cozy room”

Everything was impeccably clean. The room is spacious and cozy. The bed is a king size and very comfy. The breakfast is served at your door - in previous day you just need to inform your breakfast options and time of delivery. The hotel is a brand new building and everything is carefully run by the owners themselves. Extra tip: In front of the hotel there's a stable with horses available for a ride. We SUPER recommend this ride, as we had a lot of fun. It lasted 2 hours and on top of the ride itself, in nature and at the beach watching the sunset, our guide (Angel) was very friendly. He shared his knowledge about the local flora and spotted animals, such as monkeys and sloths. We even stopped for a coconut water drink, that he opened for us, right from the tree. It is really worth it! Comparable to other rides we've seen in Costa Rica, it was also very affordable.

The owners were so lovely, giving us great recommendations and tips for where to go and what to do. Very helpful overall to make our stay comfortable. Great breakfast and delicious waffles. It's a new hotel, nicely designed, and you can tell they take extra care to start things right.

Camila and Philipp are a nice surfer couple and great hosts! Clean and nice rooms with cute hanging chairs in front of your room to read and chill. Nice breakfast too. Walking distance to a wonderful beach. Philipp even helped me spot a few sloths on the beach!

Owners were great, very approachable gave advice on things to do and where to go and also a location to see sloths. Room is big and very clean, with comfortable bed and nice hot shower. Owner makes great breakfast especially nice big waffles, so bring a big jar of Nutella. There is a small outside seating area for each room where you can eat or sit and chill. Very close to a great restaurant and to a nice beach.

The rooms are large, comfortable and well designed. The outside area is very comfortable, and the breakfast is satisfactory. All round the experience is par for the area. Their location is great being between the beach and bus stops.
