Walking distance to town and beach, good buffet breakfast. Rooms were clean and basic. Onsite carpark was convenient.

“A little gem”

Very friendly hostess. Although there had been a problem with our payment, which had been requested on the day of our arrival, the room had been held for us. As we were travelling and off line, we were unaware of the payment issue until we arrived. Room was very clean and spacious with lots of useful storage. Nice little balcony. Useful fridge and kettle. Breakfast was superb. Lovely breakfast room and great choice of food and drinks. Pool area very neat and tidy, with plenty of good sun loungers and in a good position with the option of sun or shade. A 15 minute leisurely walk to the main area of bars, tavernas and gift shops, but there were also one or two tavernas a little nearer.

Was a lovely little place to stay in Matala. Walking distance to the beach and shops. Helen was such a beautiful lady and very helpful.

The lady at the counter was super amazing. Very friendly and helpful. The accommodation really made the beginning of our trip memorable and relaxed. Everything was taken care of. The location made it possible to walk to the Matala beach in no time.

Breakfast is excellent, cleanliness, room is so big with comfortable balcony, and all the facilities of kitchen & walkable distance to main market and beach. Enough parking place for cars at free of cost. The staffs (Manager & breakfast) are so friendly and helpful too.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Coral. Our host Eleni was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is a more traditional older Greek style building. The rooms are clean, had plenty of storage space and the grounds are well maintained. The pool was clean and had adequate beds and umbrellas. The location of the hotel is a short walk into town. There are a few bars and restaurants close by. Breakfast had a good selection of food.

Very cozy and quiet hotel with friendly and helpful owner and staff. Stunning view to the mountain's. Lovely cats walking around. Big pool, where you can easily swim. Perfect localization. We always prefer small familiy objects instead of big modern hotels, because only there you are able to feel the spirit of the Crete.

Near to Matala beach - walking distance. Very good breakfast starting at 8am. Rather basic but very clean rooms. Hotel with spirit of the Matala's best times in its best manner. And of course - exceptionaly kind lady owner!

Breakfast is amazing, the garden, terrace of the rooms are very relaxing and calm with nice flowers and smell of pine trees. I also liked the bed and shower products. Eleni is a very nice and helpful host.

The accommodation is located a 10-minute walk from the center of Matala in a quiet and peaceful area. It also includes a parking lot. The apartment was very pleasant, with a friendly terrace. The staff is nice and very helpful. The breakfast was very good. I recommend the accommodation.

The location of the hotel is really good and the owner is very friendly, which creates very nice, family-like atmosphere in the hotel. Breakfast was very good :) the room was clean. We are very satisfied with our stay.
