Angela welcome you the best way ever (smiling, cocooning, filling the fridge !!), the studio is perfect, minikitchen with all necessary, the shiwe is not the best, but it's okay. 1 balcony where you can enjoy the morning sun, 1 terrace and 1 roof top where you can enjoy the amazing view and the beautiful sunset. Near the beach, restaurants, bars, minisupermarket. Everything for a peaceful stay. The parking is just 3min walking, 4€ a day when there's someone to pay to. Lovely people if you take time to talk wih.

Everything, bed was comfortable 2 balconies and access to a roof terrace. Fridge was stocked by the host. It was great from start to finish, seconds from the beach, watching the sun set on the balcony, very clean. Will definitely stay here again on our return to Matala.

This place is truly exceptional. The apartment is fabulous with two balconies, one looking out over the sea to the rocky sand stone outcrops and caves and the other looking down onto the market square. It is light, bright, fully updated and comfortable. A highlight is meeting Angela the owner who is the epitome of Cretan hospitality. She provided all we needed for breakfast, cheese, bread, tomatoes, cucumbers, honey, marmalade, tea and coffee and when we asked about milk she insisted on running out to buy us fresh milk. This place will remain as one of the most memorable places in which we have stayed in decades of traveling.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Flores Playa! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the kindest hosts, Angela and her son, who made us feel like family. Angela's warmth and hospitality were unmatched, and her son's helpfulness was greatly appreciated. One of the highlights of our stay was the fully stocked fridge, brimming with fresh groceries that made our mornings delightful. It was such a thoughtful touch that made us feel right at home. The accommodation itself was spectacular. The stunning rooftop terrace offered breathtaking views and became our favorite spot to unwind in the evenings. Additionally, the two beautiful balconies provided perfect spaces to relax and enjoy the serene surroundings. Below the apartment is their family-run restaurant, which serves the best Pita Gyros we've ever tasted. Each meal was a culinary delight and added to the overall fantastic experience. The location of Flores Playa is unbeatable, situated right in the center of Matala and just a stone's throw away from the beach. We enjoyed leisurely strolls and refreshing swims every day, with everything we needed within walking distance. The local area is charming and offered plenty of activities to keep us entertained. Our stay at Flores Playa was nothing short of perfect, and we can't wait to return. Thank you, Angela and your wonderful son, for making our holiday so memorable!

We spend a really great time. Angela is a wonderful host, she was really nice, give us advice on what to do, she was always there when needed and she made sure we had everything we needed. The place was really great in the center of Matala with a beautiful rooftop and a wonderful view.

This is a beautiful apartment in a great location. Probably the most romantic flat above a kebab shop that you will ever find - with a wonderful balcony and terrace overlooking the sea. Angelika was a fantastic host, making us feel very welcome and incredibly generous too.

We had an amazing stay at Flores Playa. The accommodation was extremely clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The views from the two balconies and roof top terrace were spectacular. The location is perfect, right in the centre of Matala. The Owner, Angela was the perfect host. She is so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We cannot wait to return.

Great position in the interesting, characterful town of Matala. Our room was very spacious, attractive and comfortable with a huge bed. Loved watching the square from one balcony, having meals overlooking the roofs and sea from the other and lounging on the roof terrace. Angela, our host was amazing, she even helped with our cases, was full of useful info and did everything she could to make our stay successful She is also very charming and fun.
