Everything was absolutely perfect! Nice rooms, the kitchen is a plus, very nice terrace and cozy seating area with a little garden. The staff is absolutely wonderful. We didn’t miss anything and will certainly come back.

No breakfast in our package but having built a relationship with the lovely family who own and run the establishment we were treated on our last day to complimentary home made cake and freddo cold coffees. Lovely, and just like the good old days.

Excellent value for money. We arrived quite late on a Sunday, when reception is closed but everything was set up and communicated well up front for us to have access to our rooms. Everyone was really friendly and accommodating.

A nice relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are older but clean and secure. Nice linen changed daily. A family run affair and a convenient car rental available as well .. well priced. The AC worked well. Enjoyable stay five minutes from the beach. Oh .. the kitchen .. bit of a bonus for some on a budget, but who wants to cook on holiday.

I absolutely loved EVERYTHING at Filia Rooms! The hosts - both the family and the receptionist - all very nice and kind, they offered me their help when needed and always answered my messages. I had a nice room, on the ground floor, nicely arranged and decorated, which had all the necessary utilities in good working order. Grade 10 cleanliness! Friendly and warm atmosphere...I felt AT HOME here, at Filia and I want to come back...Thank you, with gratitude, for everything!

The location is conveniently close to the city center yet wonderfully peaceful. The owners were incredibly kind, offering us slices of their delightful homemade cake. Such a lovely touch!

Alexandra is extremely welcoming and helpful. We had a room with upstairs balcony. There is a shared kitchen facility which is useful for breakfast and drinks. Room was clean and comfortable. Rooms are on the Matala Old Road (10 minute walk into town) and near to bus stop, great for days out (eg Phaestos) and bus to Kommos Beach.

Very rustic, cosy place to stay. Quiet and peaceful. No pool but there is a hotel a bit down the road, nearer to town, that lets you use their pool if you buy drinks or food from them
