Such a lovely homestay! The chef was such a beautiful person along with the rest of the gang. Lovely place to have some peace and serenity. The coconuts were a bonus as well.

Loved my time at Ravita Homestay. The snorkeling right off the beach is amazing, and the staff are such friendly people. It was a wonderful experience to get to stay with the locals and see how they live - it really added a special, authentic touch to the trip. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

“Wonderful experience”

Ravita is located in a wonderful island, the snorkeling from the beach is superb and going to Blue Lagoon is a 5 minutes boat ride. The boat rides are one of the best parts, lead by the acknowledged, kind and courteous Capitan Bill, who is really the soul of the place. All the staff went far beyond our expectations to help and let us enjoy our time in Matavawalevu. And best coconut ever! Thanks for having us.

“Perfect little tropical paradise”

Not sure where to begin, the location is probably the best in the world but the lovely folk who looked after me during my stay were amazing!! Not only do you get an authentic Fijian experience away from the resort crowds it’s a hell of a lot cheaper with breakfast and lunch included (dinner is optional you just pay for any evening you want this :) ) and the food was just so great. my room was enormous and perfect for 8 days. they offer a bunch of free daily activities like boat rides to different snorkelling spots, coconut husking and even diving for sea grapes (this was a lot of fun!) i spent my birthday there and lovely Liko (i hope i spelled this right) made me a cake! They also have the most adorable kitten, big plus for me, I would 100% come back to Ravita cove ♥️

Ravita cove was our first stop in the Yasawas and we couldn’t have asked for a better start. We felt so welcomed and taken care of. Liku, Leni, Dee and Tui were truly lovely staff. All the food was delicious, varied and budget friendly. The school visit was great, the children were singing to us. The Village trip was a highlight, a charming place where were welcomed into their traditions with open arms. We went to the sawa i lau caves and strongly recommend going, it was a very cool experience with chambers only accessible through an underwater tunnel, also great spots to jump from if you are a strong climber. The cove reef was gorgeous, they provided us with snorkel gear and a kayak - all for free! The beach is long and sandy, great for a little walk. Our room had multiple fans which was really great to ensure you have a comfortable night sleep. Overall an experience we will look back on very fondly and hope to return one day! Can’t recommend enough.

Very friendly people and great actvities incl several snorkeling spots. Also room was nice and its like a private beach. Food was good too, great that we could try lovo there. And i loved the cat :-)

“Nice, but not amazing.”

It's in the middle of a big private bay! A free to use BBQ Nice shower with a lot of pressure! If you want to, your are alone. 24h of electricity and water! We had a the biggest and cleanest room since our jury stated. We also had a A/C but only in day time. When we arrived we had a towel Skulptur on ower beds! And a nice welcome written on the bed with flowers!

“Beautiful place, but overregulated in a contradictory, stressful way.”

Very clean, surrounded by beautiful nature. Each guest was given a small gift for Christmas, which was a nice gesture - thank you. The included lunch was usually just a fried snack (but on Christmas day it was a real meal, with some fresh food, which we appreciated). Free drop-off and pick-up at Blue Lagoon Beach, which was a highlight of our stay, as the homestay itself is in a rather remote location. Free snorkelling gear was provided for those trips.

“Beautiful nature, place is well kept and clean.”

We loved the location surrounded by beautiful nature. There is a long beach, good for walking, with rather shallow water and another one about five minutes walk away, where you can always swim. Free use of kayak and snorkelling gear. The place was very well kept and clean. We enjoyed the silence and the stargazing. Staff invited us to their end of the year party - thank you! Very nice banana bread and muffins for breakfast, plus fresh fruit.

The staff was very friendly, approachable and attentive. All the rooms were very clean and tidy. Food was absolutely tasty with a great Fiji home feeling with many seafood options caught by the staff. There was an option to catch a ride with staff boat to go snorkeling or shopping into a small market on the neighboring island.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. Stayed long enough to become very friendly with staff. They even had a birthday party with cake for my wife. It has its own cove and very good snorkeling. Also able to have them take you to local store on neighbouring island or to other snorkeling spots, local village or school. Enjoyed meeting other similar travellers both young and older. Very peaceful spot to lie in the hammock and forget the cares of the world.

We just had an amazing stay at Ravita! We spent 4 nights in this lovely homestay and we had such a nice time here. The staff was so friendly and always concerned with our well being at all times, thank you so much for looking after us during our stay. Hats off to the chef as the food was always delicious. The room was big and clean, the shared bathroom was clean and tidy. The homestay offers plenty of free activities, which we highly recommend doing them all. The blue lagoon is the highlight, such a beautiful spot. We even attended church at their local village on Sunday morning, which was a great experience. Overall, we can’t recommend Ravita enough, it was such an authentic experience and we hope to visit it again in the future. But until then make sure to stay at Ravita if you are ever in the Yasawa region, you won’t regret it! Vinaka Ravita ❤️
