“I want to live in the mountains now.”
This was more of an adventure than just a stay. Our host showed us the true Tuscan hospitality serving wine from his personal vineyard in the evening and serving tasty coffee and breakfast in the morning. He drew us a map for the best views in the mountain, recommended the best places to visit in the region and even invited us to a home made lunch that blew us away. The place is beautiful, full of life and gave us the experience of living in the mountain wilderness and wanting for more.

“Exceptional”
Some kind of hidden place in the mountain. Something different that what we usually do for vacation. We could see all the animals and ride horses. Nice people. They welcomed and helped us very well. Dinner was very good. Good price. I recommend.

“A great place for nature and animal lovers”
A special place in the middle of nature. Authentic local food, Tuscan hospitality and friendliness. Many thanks to Paolo and his friends, both two-legged and four-legged :). We regret that we had only planned to stay there for one night. If we get back there, we will definitely stay longer.

Delightful location great for hiking and enjoying nature. The hosts were exceptional and friendly and providing for anything we needed even at very unreasonable hours. The house is also extremely cosy and quaint. The breakfast, lunch and dinner are fantastic and fresh.

It was a nice vacation and a unique experience. The place is very beautifull and the hosts are very nice. I recommend to spend a couple of days in this location. You can go on a hike for 30 minutes and see some breathing views.

“Unforgettable :)”
It was a great experience. Everything was authentic: the mountains, the accommodation, the horses, the dogs, the birds, the fireflies at night, singing with the guitar, the people we met, the host Paolo himself. The breakfast was simple but very tasty, the dinner was delicious. Highly recommended!

Location is great! All the nature around is amazing, also there are living 19 horses. All animals around are so lovely and friendly. The owner is friendly. We also ordered dinner so the food was very tasty. In general it was good and new experience.

“Overall, I highly recommend Il centro for active vacationers looking for natural, quiet surroundings”
Il Centro is set in a very natural, beautiful and quiet area and a perfect starting point for hiking trips right from that location or a short drive away. The house I stayed in was rustic and charming. The bathroom is well equipped and modern, the beds comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. The hosts were friendly and helpful. It was very nice to gather in the common room for dinner and talk. It creates a very nice social atmosphere with persons also on active, outdoor vacations (perfect if you are vacationing on your own, as I was). The dinners were freshly cooked and delicious, with good local wine.

Best possible location up in the mountains with horses, goat and dogs - hosts were nearby and went above and beyond for us - house itself was lovely - amazing and unique place to stay!
