Overview
This restored 12th century monastery is surrounded by the green hills of Maremmana in Tuscany. It offers an outdoor pool, and rustic apartments with satellite TV and a washing machine. Follonica is a 25-minute drive away. Terracotta floors, wood-beamed ceilings and antique local furniture characterise all apartments at Il Convento di Monte Pozzali. Each is equipped with a kitchenette and dishwasher. Some have original fireplaces. Bikes are a great way to explore the area, and can be hired at reception. Guests can relax on the sun terrace by the pool, or book a massage. Ferries to Sardinia and the Island of Elba leave from Piombino, 50 km away. It is a 30-minute drive to Grosseto, and parking is free.

“Wonderful place! Will definitely visit again.”
This is certainly one of the most beautiful places I’ve seen my entire life! The room we stayed in was very spacious with a wonderful view. The staff - Fabio, Giulia and the others were extremely friendly and nice! On the way to the castle, there are local farms, wineries and beautiful nature. We will definitely visit again this place.
