They Room was really cute! The housekeeper was super lovely and offered everything from ayurveda massages to cooking classes with her talented mother! She also knows about all the beautiful places in the area and is very helpful with any plans you may have!

This place is Amazing ! Comfy, cosy, well equiped, quiet at night. I could have stayed a month easily ! The food is super good and the daughter of the hosts is a very skilled and passionate ayurvedic doctor. She can make ayurvedic massages but also helping you treating naturally your diseases. I was trekking around, there are waterfalls, a nice lake with tea fields, and the section 8 of the pekoe trail from Norwood (going by bus) in the most beautiful tea fields of sri lanka.

This hostel was one of my favorite stays in Sri Lanka, the host family were very friendly and lovely, the rooms were very clean and airy, and the beds were comfortable to sleep in. By the way, the omelette and vegetable soup cooked by the hostess are delicious, don't miss it! If you come to this town, choosing this hostel must be the right decision.

“Lovely homestay to relax in Maskeliya”
Nice homestay with basic but clean rooms and a common living area. Private bathroom with hot water. They provide towels, soap and you can ask for hot water to make tea. The family also cooks meals for breakfast/lunch/dinner upon request. They even gave us basic kitchen equipment to prepare our own salad. Lovely owners make you feel at home and are helpful in any regards. They took us on a tour to Gartmore waterfall and explained us a lot about tea plantations. Radha is Ayurvedic doctor and offers various treatments. It’s a bit outside of town, a quiet area 20min walk to the center but basic shops are nearby. Good place to relax for a few days.

I had a lovely stay at River Side Guest House, as it provided me with everything I needed - a comfortable bed, a hot shower, excellent food, welcoming staff - and all at a very reasonable price!

The Lady and the gentlemen who serve us are very good. They are very polite. They arranged a good meal from some where else.
