Having climbed Sri Pada in the early hours and then seeing the sacred mountain from our lovely Queen room with balcony back at Pekoe Lodge was both breath taking and poignant.  Ishara was an amazing host. So kind and considerate. She made sure our stay was a comfortable one, including being available for our check-in very late at night and having brunch ready for us after the climb. Communication with her was excellent, both before and duration the stay. There was a good selection of menu options. Our brunch and dinner were delicious! Thanks so much to Ishara and the team at Pekoe Lodge!

This is the most amazing and beautiful view. This view is so unique from what you get in other places. The price is nothing when you get this view. Good food. Amazing comfortable bed, good balcony. The staff were amazing.

At first, I thought adding Maskeliya to our itinerary might have been a mistake—but staying here completely changed my mind. The staff made our journey unforgettable, and I have to give a huge shoutout to Ishara and Uyagantha—they were truly amazing! Now let’s talk about the food—oh my god, it was hands down the best food we had during our 24-day road trip across Sri Lanka. The flavours were absolutely mind-blowing! Breakfast was served on the balcony with stunning views of Adam’s Peak and the lake—such a magical experience. Communication with the team was effortless. They arranged all our tours and took care of every detail for us. Just ask for Ishara and they’ll handle everything. The room was spacious, with a lovely balcony and a breathtaking view. We are 100% coming back, no doubt about it—mainly because of the amazing staff.

Atention and food, helping with everything, the views of the lake are incredible, get the room with the balcony !

Clean and spacious rooms. Great views from the terrace in the morning. Best traditional breakfast we have had in Srilanka in 3 weeks! Incredibly warm hospitality from husband and wife running the lodge - highly recommend!

“A wonderful and memorable stay.”

Fantastic location with a million dollar view of the reservoir and Adam’s Peak beyond. Very attentive service by the staff — a husband and wife team (Ishara and Yugantha). Bought and cooked for us twice the freshest fish from the reservoir. The couple were always so obliging and ready to help. The best service received ever in all the places we have stayed in this Sri Lankan trip.

Ishara was fabulous, very sweet, cooked us an amazing Sri Lankan dinner, felt like a home stay. She organised our trip to Adam’s Peak at 2am. Very accommodating when we had to change our plans!

We loved the hosts, Ishara and Yudantha. They were so friendly and helpful. They made our stay special. The food really tasty and they were always accomodating to our needs. The location was also excellent and had beautiful views of Adam’s peak.

Food was great and the staff was really helpful. Very calm place even though it's located in the middle of Maskeliya town. Great place to explore the surroundings.
