“Avoid at any cost”

I would not recommend this location, as it is inaccessible by vehicle and quite far from Sripada compared to other well-priced accommodations in the area. Additionally, the hosting was highly disappointing. When we ran into trouble in an unfamiliar place, the host showed no willingness to help. Being Sri Lankan, I was able to find a solution, but a foreign traveler who doesn't speak Sinhala or Tamil would find it nearly impossible to get out of a difficult situation here.

Very nice place with a lot of space. The tenant is really welcoming and helpful. He gave us plenty of information for our stay in Maskeliya as well as precious advise to continue our journey. The breakfast and dinner were also really tasty and good portions.

Lovely place that has recently been renovated. The owner‘s mom is a great chef that makes delicious food you can pick from a menu for fair prices. The host was very helpful when it comes to advice for day trips in the area.

We had an amazing stay at Heaven Hills Guest House, Maskeliya. The rooms were spotless and cozy, set in a quiet environment ideal for relaxing after a day of adventure. The hospitality was exceptional the staff were warm, friendly, and attentive. The homemade food was a standout, offering delicious local dishes that made every meal enjoyable. With its close proximity to Maskeliya town, the guest house is perfectly located for exploring Adam’s Peak and stunning waterfalls like Laxapana, Gartmore, and Aberdeen. A wonderful place to stay we can’t wait to come back!

“A little heaven to restore from Adam's Peak climbing”

Namal is a very kind and welcoming host. I had all I needed to restore from Adam's Peak climbing. The location use beautiful and you can enjoy of lake's view. The room was really clean and comfortable. I will remember this place. I really reccomend it 💗

“The owner is a super friendly person”

The guesthouse is located in a nice, quiet area with a beautiful view of Maskeliya lake. It's a perfect location if you want to go for a walk in tea plantations, discover beautiful waterfalls or climb up Adam's Peak. The owner's brother is a tuk-tuk driver so can organize a trip for a very good price. The room is clean, with hot water available, breakfasts and dinners prepared by the owner's wife and it's very delicious, in Sri Lankan style. The owner is a super friendly person, I spent a lot of time with him, drinking beer and talking about our countries, cultures, and traditions... He is keeping smiling all the time and offers help when necessary. I really recommend staying in this place - it is far away from the main tourist destinations but with perfect opportunities to climb Adam's Peak.

I had a great time at Heaven Hills Guesthouse. The location of the guest house is close to the bus stop a Maskaliya fuel station and small shops and restaurants are in front of the house, but still the rooms are really quiet. Especially the one with the balcony which has a great view 😍 Rooms are really clean and nicely arrange with everything you need. The bathroom has a hot shower. Namal is a super friendly and helpful host. He helped me to arrange my hike at Adam's Peak and gave tips how to do it. His brother took me there with the tuktuk. Great service. I highly recommend staying at Heaven Hills Guesthouse for those who want to hike Adam's peak. Also because staying in Maskeliya is perfect as it has a better bus connection to Hatton and more shops and restaurants than on the town where the hike starts.

Great location and lovely view of the Tea plantations and surroundings. Owner are really kind and made us feel so comfortable. Rooms are clean and have everything you need. breakfast and dinner was exceptionally good. they offer taxi service for reasonable price. Would recommend staying here.

We had an amazing stay at Heavens Hills! The room was super clean, we had a lot of space and it had everything we needed. It was quiet. We could enjoy a nice balcony with a nice view. The owner was very helpful and helped us with all the questions we had to make us enjoy our stay. Would recommend 100%. Maskeliya is a small village nestled in beautiful mountains very close to Adam's Peak and to stunning waterfalls, not very touristic and with nice people. It is a great opportunity to also volunteer in the close by Tea Leaf Trust school helping young people from tea plantation workers.

I had an amazing stay at Heaven Hills Guest House! The location is perfect, just a short distance from Maskeliya city centre, which makes it easy to enjoy the city's attractions while being in a peaceful and serene environment. The rooms are Basic but incredibly clean and well maintained, with plenty of space to relax. The hot water in the bathroom has great pressure, which was a nice touch. The Owner 'Namal' was absolutely fantastic-very friendly, helpful, and always available to assist with anything. He arranged everything perfectly and provided extraordinary support whenever necessary. The place is quiet and calm, and the mountain and tea field view from the property is simply stunning. After Adams peak hiking we did the gartmore falls tour with owner's Brother 'Tharaka' which was incredible experience, They also offer Dinner and breakfast, which was delicious. I highly recommend Heaven Hills Guest House, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. It’s a great place to stay with top-notch service!
