“Great sea, very basic apartment.”
The location is very good, just across the sea. The beach is beautiful, very long and spacious and most importantly for free. The sea is very pure and a true pleasure to swim in. We would like to thank Giuseppe for his hospitality and all the help he gave us during our stay in the apartment. He gave us a ride from Catania to the apartment and afterwards he took us to the airport, a service for which we paid. We are grateful because there was literally no other way to arrive at the apartment other than with a car, which we didn't have. He also took us to a supermarket to do some shopping, because there are no shops for groceries in the vicinity of the place, except for a very small and basic mini market. The apartment was relatively clean and quite basic, which we didn't mind at all. There are plenty of restaurants with great food right on the spot, so if you prefer to eat out, you will enjoy yourself. If you want to enjoy the beach and eat out, it could be a good place to stay, provided that the apartment is better maintained.
