We arrived a little earlier than anticipated and there was no one at the property. We called them and after a short while someone came to give us the keys. No major issues, all fine. The apartment is well equipped and has everything one needs to feel at home. The internet worked fine. Bonus: they gave us some fresh cherries from their tree!

Flat was OK, clean, spacy, a bit off "grandma" style in decoration (somehow interesting, though). Friendly owner, no problem with late check-in. Bath and shower in the bathroom, washing machine available (not used). Calm area, good for rest. Thank you!

The communication with the hosts was very good throughout. On the day of our arrival, I was contacted by the hosts who asked me for the approximate time of my arrival at the location; which was a very good sign that they were waiting for me. Once we arrived we were met by Sara who greeted us warmly and welcomed us to the holiday home. My family and I were also invited to the upper terrace where the hosts live, and we could enjoy the breath taking views of Mascali and the distant ocean. The outside space is ample and my pet dog could freely run around and interacting with the neighbours dog. Gated parking was available for our use, so it was always very safe with our minds at rest. Sara's dad was so kind to provide me with snow chains for the eventuality of need when visiting Etna slopes. Despite the hosts living at the upper level, we enjoyed complete privacy at all times; the hosts made themselves available for any needs or questions which we had during our stay. The house was very clean, the oven functional, clean sheets and towels were provided. Central heating was activated by the hosts during evenings, so it was comfy staying inside with light clothing. The mattresses were kind of soft and not to our preference (I use fully orthopedic); this said we still managed to get good night's sleep. The shower cubicle is of the smallest size like the 70 x 70 cm; this size is very much typical in Sicily; but again we could still have a decent shower with hot good flowing water. The location of the property is accessible through a cul de sac with an advantage that there was absolutely no traffic on the street. A car is definitely needed, because the amenities are located some 10 minutes away by car downhill. The surrounding streets leading to the property are not very great, these are narrow single lanes enough for two cars to pass within 4 inches away from each other; there were a few potholes along the way to be aware of.

We were kind of lost and arrived a little later as planned, but they waited eighter way! Even though we arrived on Christmas we enjoyed a very warm Sicilian welcome in a cute, typical decorated appartment. Grazie mille!

Everything was great. Room was speciaus and exactly like on the photos that housekeeper publish on booking. We could park car next to our room which was very convinient. We could use garden with beautiful view on the sea and vulcano. We could also use swimming pool. Housekeepers were very nice. They can't speak English, but their daughter can so we didn't have problem with communications.

A first floor apartment with everything needed. Good kitchen, spaceous rooms and a very nice garden. The location is in the valleys, very calm and peaceful.
