We had an exceptional stay at Olaloi – truly an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Wilson and his team went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met, striking the perfect balance between warm hospitality and professional service. The lodge itself is beautifully designed, blending elegance with a deep respect for the surrounding natural environment. Our accommodations were tastefully appointed, and the beds offered a level of comfort on par with top-tier hotels. The culinary experience was another highlight – each meal was a delight, comparable to fine dining in a high-end restaurant, both in presentation and flavor. What truly sets Olaloi apart, however, is its location. Nestled in the heart of nature, the lodge offers a rare opportunity to connect with wildlife in its natural habitat – a breathtaking and humbling experience. Without question, this was the best accommodation we stayed at during our time in Kenya. We’re already looking forward to our return.

Best camp with the kindest and most friendly people ever!!! ☺️ Benjamin, Wilson, Jonathan and everyone else were very kind and helpful. Additionally, the food made by the extremely talented in-house chef was really amazing!! We were treated with delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner each day, all 3 course meals made from scratch 😍😍 They organised the safari for us as well which was great! Will definitely come back here to stay again !! 😄

Almost everything! The staff were extremely welcoming, even when we arrived after midnight due to car problems. The food is amazing. The room was very comfortable and spacious.

The stay in olaloi was an absolute delight. Such a welcoming vibe Benjamin , chef John , Helen , Mr. Tanin , Simon & our great Safari companion Daniel all , they all made us feel so welcomed and cared for. The arrangements they all made were great and our trip to Maasai mara was phenomenal

Mwangi, who was our driver to and from Nairobi, was excellent—very friendly and great company throughout our journey. All the staff were impeccable. The chef took great care of us by preparing very delicious meals. Jonathan, our safari guide, was very experienced and thanks to him we saw so many animals—an outstanding experience. The place was very clean and well-kept. Everything was excellent.

We had a wonderful stay at Olaloi. The food was absolutely delicious, and our safari guide even said the packed lunch was the best he’s ever had. Benjamin (Latata) served us with such kindness and a warm smile, which made every meal even more enjoyable. Wilson took great care of everything and made sure our rooms and stay was perfectly comfortable and bug-free. Chef John prepared outstanding meals that we’ll be thinking about long after our trip. Tanin provided excellent security and made us feel safe throughout our stay. Olaloi truly exceeded our expectations in every way and we highly recommend it.

“Truly exceptional experience in the heart of the Maasai Mara”

I have just returned from a truly exceptional stay at Olaloi Mara Camp. From the moment I arrived I was warmly greeted and made to feel at home by all the members of the small and perfectly formed team that run the camp - each of Wilson, Helen, John, Benjamin, Tanin and Jonathan went out of their way to make my stay the experience that I will remember always. Wilson, Helen and Benjamin were wonderful hosts, paying close attention to every detail. John takes such pride and is so professional in the preparation and presentation of the delicious three course meals he freshly prepares every day. Tanin was always on hand to escort me to and from my room, whatever time of day. And Jonathan who took me on my game drives, was excellent - such good company and his local Maasai knowledge meant that we had great viewings of everything, including more than one close encounter with leopards, lions and cheetahs. The genuine kindness and hospitality that shines through from all really makes Olaloi a special place. One day I arrived back from a morning game drive to have lunch and a table had been set up in the garden - it was a lovely gesture and one of many examples of the thoughtfulness shown by the team. I hope to return to the Maasai Mara one day, and there will be no question of staying anywhere other than Olaloi Mara Camp. Jemimah was also excellent in her communication from the moment I booked.

The Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Delicious food, very clean rooms. They organised an extraodinary game drive for us, with an very experienced and super nice guide, we saw so many different animals, which we had never expected. Additionall, we warmly can recommend the driver, the organised to get us to nairobi. Safe driver, good car and knows a lot about the country. I really can highly recommend olaloi Mara Camp!!!!!

What a wonderful camp! It has beautiful, large and comfortable rooms with a private terrace, the staff were very welcoming, John ist a great cook and the game drive with Jonathan was just incredible ... I would love to come back.

Politely and hospitable staff. Tidy and very clean rooms. Meals were delicious. Camp is maximum closed to wild nature. Game drive was organise perfectly with a well experienced guide.

“Cracking location with decent people”

This place is right on the boundary of the Masai Mara national park. So much so that there are hyena and hippos wandering through the gardens! The staff are SO genuine, friendly and can’t help enough. Places like this need support as they’re what travelling is all about- great locations with decent, genuine people

We stayed here for two nights. Enjoyed every bit of it. The place was wonderful to stay. The best part of the stay is the “People”. Wilson, the manager of the property took care of us really well. The chef, who just went beyond to deliver whatever we asked. Jeremiah, for grooving to the music along with us. Jonathan, the person who drove us everywhere. The masai village, school, game drives etc. He definitely has a good taste of music. Don’t forget to ask him play his music during your visit. These guys are a vibe. We’ve had some crazy conversations, grooved to Maasai Music, enjoyed the sunset dancing together. This place has it all.

“Lovely lodges and team”

We really enjoyed our stay. The team and manager are very lovely and helpful to made our stay as comfortable as possible. The manager surprised the camp guests with a camp fire and special show with traditional Maasai dances. A very unique experience we enjoyed a lot.

Everyone at Olaloi Mara Camp are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Jemimah and Jacob were excellent hosts and very friendly and hospitable. We were able to book a game drive and balloon trip through Jemimah and both were amazing experiences. John (Chef), Wilson and Jeremiah were very attentive at meal times. We felt like we were staying with family and friends rather than just guests at an accommodation. The location was excellent and close to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. You can hear the lions and hyenas at night. Our Maasai guide, Dominic was brilliant and good company on the game drive days.

Jemimah, Jacob and the team at Olaloi were fantastic. Communication was great before we arrived and they were able to organise transport from the airstrip and to our next camp. The team were very accommodating and we enjoyed the food and then evening drinks by the fire. They were also able to organise game drives for us with a local guide Jonathan who was excellent and we saw so many animals. We enjoyed spending a few days at the camp!
