“Beautiful quiet vineyard retreat with fabulous hospitality”

Tenuta Folesano was simply gorgeous. The house is right next to the vineyard and has lovely views. The room is comfortably furnished and there was a crib available as well. The (common) kitchen has everything you need and we even cooked a meal there for our selves. The best thing though is the hospitality - Andrea is simply wonderful and made us feel right at home. From restaurant tips to a generous breakfast, Andrea paid attention to our needs and helped. There is a pretty garden where we could spend time in the evenings and this, with the bottles of wine from the vineyard made for a great time. The wine tasting was also fantastic with the tasty bruschetta accompanying it. We loved our stay.

My husband and I spent one night at this wonderful accommodation surrounded by incredibly beautiful nature. The building dates back to the 1300s and has been beautifully renovated while preserving its charm and character. We had a fantastic room with a very comfortable bed and a large, beautiful bathroom. Andrea and Natalia are truly exceptional hosts.. warm, caring, welcoming, and genuinely kind people. We also had the pleasure of meeting their family, which made our stay feel even more special and personal. In the evening, we booked a wine tasting with Andrea and had the opportunity to enjoy their amazing wines. Andrea had also prepared the most incredible charcuterie board we have ever had, with a delicious selection of salamis and cheeses. We spent a wonderful evening at the estate talking with Andrea and Natalia about life and many different topics, something we appreciated so much. The atmosphere was relaxed, authentic and unforgettable. We highly recommend everyone to book a stay here! This place is absolutely fantastic! ❤️

Stunning location, the building and surrounds astounding. The hosts are passionate about their area and Italy. The wine tasting and local meats & cheese board just amazing. A very talented wine maker. Trains are close a short car trip away if travelling into Bologna..

“Exeptional place with unmatched hospitality”

It’s hard to find words to describe how magnificent this place is. Andrea and Natalia made us feel like we were visiting good old friends. They were super friendly and helpful, giving a lot of valuable recommendations about food and attractions. The hospitality is unmatched and the level of attention to details from Natalia and Andrea reminds me of Nobu hotels. The location is superb with a train station within 4min drive, so exploring Bologna and the rest of Emilia Romagna can be done very comfortably. Let’s not forget the magical landscapes surrounding the place, it’s straight out of a fairy tale. We will be definitely coming back!

Its location. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and well presented. The lady and gentlemen that ran it were extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough to make sure we were happy. Good breakfast, plenty of choice, also facilities to make your own tea and coffee. Lovely large sitting area with tables and a settee.

The atmosphere we look for when we come to Italy. Location: 40 minutes by car to Bologna, or the option of going by train. Very good restaurants near by, which Mateo recommended. We got to taste their delicious wine.

We loved everything, the location, the hotel and the owners. Quiet and beautiful place, very clean rooms and superb breakfast. Natalia and Andrea (the owners) are great! You can buy from their cellar as well.

A beautifully restored medieval castle in the most stunning and tranquil location. The room was spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was very good and freshly prepared using only the best ingredients and products. However, what makes this property truly exceptional are the owners, who couldn’t have been more welcoming and attentive. They recommended a local restaurant for dinner called Osteria di Sperticano, which you shouldn’t miss - the meal, the wine and host was 10/10.
