Comfortable, well-appointed apartment in an ideal first-floor location on the quayside, close to restaurants & cafes, and only a short walk into town. Good communication with the owners, easy key pick-up, and free parking just around the corner.

I had an appointment yesterday at 15.00 hrs French Time and the owner never appeared at the property.

“Unresponsive owner and poor quality furnishings”

The owner did not respond to my many text messages, emails and telephone calls throughout my two day stay. My problem was that I had not been given the WiFi code and I needed to work using my laptop. In the end I could not do what I had planned and needed to do - and I believe the apartment does not have WiFi - contrary to what is advertised. The situation was deeply frustrating and I believe I should receive a refund. In addition, the flat was so cluttered with personal knickknacks that I had to spend half a hour clearing things away to begin to use the space. The kitchen equipment was rudimentary (no kettle), the bathroom facilities are old, the hoover and mop are left in the lounge as there is nowhere else for them, and the bedding is ancient (blanket not duvet, cheap sheets). The sofa looked like it had not been cleaned in a long while and I felt I had to cover it before I could sit on it. All in all, no money has been spent on the flat in a long while and it does not meet modern standards, although the location is excellent.

Beautiful location looking over the marina. Light bright and spacious. A bottle of wine as a gift was lovely.

Location, location, location! Overlooking the quayside near to restaurants, so much to watch. The apartment is beautiful, well equipped and comfortable. We were met by the owner, who showed us around the apartment and was really helpful, parking etc.
