“Perfect”

We absolutely loved the place and hospitality! The hosts are amazing and caring, they provided us with detailed introductions how to get to the place easily and even recommend us places where to go eat. It’s a perfect place for an authentic Umbrian experience. The place has a big territory with lots of privacy and the house was very clean and well equipped. Can only recommend!

We loved it. Came with 5 people and a toddler. The amount of space was fantastic, property was super clean and very authentic. We loved that the place felt very private although other people were also staying at the premises. The pool area was also beautiful and neat. The kitchen was amazing, plenty of room to move around and cook. Lots of utensils and other equipment needed for cooking. Its unfortunate that we only had 4 nights here. Will recommend it to my friends for sure:)

“Beautiful apartment and pool, highly recommand!”

The apartments are very nice decorated (including modern bathrooms), the kitchen is complete and the pool is stunning. We were the only guests, so it felt like a private pool. Location is quiet, but no so remote, so you can easily visit Perugia or Trasimeno lake. The owners are very friendly.

Pure Magic.... Casale Monticchio is breathtakingly beautiful. Hugues and Andrew have created a masterpiece here, their wonderful energy and design style make the property feel sa special. We loved everything from the incredible swimming pool to the company of the sweet donkeys and the little tiger cat. A truly heavenly experience thanks to two amazing hosts Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Super extraordinary place - we felt at home immediately. The pool was great and we loved the overall style and atmosphere! 5 flames for Hughes & Andrew - fantastic hosts with so many skills - even as fire fighters! 😉

“A peaceful tranquil retreat set in the heart of the Umbrian countryside.”

We had an amazing time with our 2 little dogs at the property. The instructions we were given before hand to the reach the house were very helpful. Hugues, one of the hosts, responded to my messages instantly and helped us out with herbs from the garden, suggestions for exploring other towns etc. The house we stayed at was quite spacious and well equipped. The pool looked absolutely stunning but it was still too cold for us to go for a swim. The location is great for walking and there runs a stream behind the house. It’s very peaceful and all we could hear were birds and the 2 donkeys who live on the property. I highly recommend staying here.

I just loved the place! Lovely old buildings, tastefully renovated, lots of space, warm and friendly atmosphere and a great host!

Hugues and Andrew invited us for a 3 course dinner our first night which was very pleasant. We stayed in Gaggia house which was very spacious (2 families with 2 girls each, 8 persons totally). We shopped in nearby Spina and cooked lunch/dinners in a well equipped kitchen. The infinity pool was amazing with a fantastic view

“Heaven of tranquility and relaxation”

The house and location are truly special. The owners are also some of the nicest people you will ever meet and are so friendly and know the area inside out and have loads of advice and inside tips. Then there is the pool, which had stunning views over the hill. The place seems to attract like minded people and sharing the pool was never an issue, in fact interacting with the lovely other guests was an unexpected pleasant surprise

Hugue and Andrew are the perfect hosts. We loved our stay! The house is amazing and Andrew and Hugue were great iwth recommendation on what to do in the area. We are looking forward coming back again :)

“The best place in Umbria”

I was our 4th holidays in Italy. Always the good one, but this time it was the best ever. Very beautiful atmospheric place with very friendly and helpful hosts Hugues & Andrew. All the best you can meet in Italy.

Super peaceful and quiet location. Fantastic apartment (pigsties) with a wonderful terrace. Beautiful setting and superb hosts! We had a fabulous time there and will come back for sure!
