Overview
Overlooking Marsalforn Bay, the Calypso features a rooftop swimming pool with sun deck and cocktail bar. The hotel lies on Gozo, 10 km from the Ferry Terminal with connections to Malta. Rooms at the Calypso are simple in style and come with private balcony and free Wi-Fi connection. Each air conditioned room includes a fully equipped bathroom with bath or shower. Some rooms offer views of the Mediterranean, others face Xaghra Hill. There are 2 restaurants at the hotel, serving a range of Mediterranean, Italian and local cuisine. Great location, lovely area with plenty of restaurants and great bus service. Room was good size, good service tray (tea/coffee) and nice to have a fridge in the room. Clean room, firm mattress. Breakfast selection was very good, varied, full cooked options (always hot), plenty of breads/cakes/fruit/cereals etc. Rooftop pool and bar area was nice.

Breakfast was excellent, with wide variety to choose from. Although the juices from the machine were sort of diluted. The scrambled eggs were nice but needed a bit more cooking they were too soggy and runny. Maybe with less milk. Bacon needed de tangling prior cooking as only bits were normally cooked middle bits seemed raw or uncooked. Amazing tasty sausages. Very nice, enjoyed very much. Maybe could add some doughnuts and muffins, but your cakes were delicious and awesome. Ten out of ten. Compliments to the Baker!! Very friendly helpful Staff. Well done and keep it up.

In a lovely area of Gozo close to great resturants and nice beaches, plenty of walks nearby too. Bus stop nearby to other areas of Gozo.

The location was exceptional. The room was a little dated but the view more than make up for it. Breakfast was nice and lots of selection.

“Excellent and up to my standards”
Breakfast was superb . Such a good variety of food especially with healthy options . Since i was a wheelchair user , for me it was very comfortable especially the beds which where low enough for me to tramsfer

“Ok for us for one night”
The location was great. Our room had a direct view to the sea with a little balcony. Directly on our trail. Unfortunately there are a lot of restaurants nearby, so it is a little loud. Marsalforn itself had its best times already a longer time ago.
