“Perfect desert getaway”

I love it! I got a room upgrade which had its own little library and ocean view, beautitul balcony too and very private. The food every night was amazing and the staff is very friendly too. They have a bigger library full of incredible collectible items, a little exhibition and a Bedouin museum downstairs which is very impressive. I will absolutely go back to Wadi Sabarah, pure calmness and relaxation

Absolutely lovely eco lodge. We loved having the dive center on site and desert excursions. There are educational talks in the evenings in the inspiring library. The food was excellent served family style. We had full board and enjoyed all of it. The restaurant has beautiful views and the staff is great.

“A real gem in the desert”

This is a perfectly run hotel. I very much liked my stay of 4 days. The location is a bit away from everything, but this again adds to its beauty: It’s totally quiet and not at all crowded. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Food is local and excellent. Now the staff are the best of everything. They are always around and very helpful. At the pool, the dining area, around the rooms etc. The waiters were very cheerful and very attentive. I would like to mention Cico who worked at the pool area and read every wish from my mind. Then there is a library that deserves that name. Many books, pictures and antiques can be enjoyed. A room full of history. In that very room every evening at 6:30 pm there is a 30‘ presentation on a topic like sea turtles which I visited. Thanks Simon, that was very informative. Then I had the pleasure of meeting Sam, the owner of the hotel. Thank you Sam for the invitation to that Lebanese food tasting. In case you fancy going to Zermatt skiing let me know, I live there and know the place. The Emperor Diving school that can be found in the hotel complex is equally well and professionally run. Highly recommended too. In short real gems!

“A wonderful place!”

It’s a special place - good to relax! Breakfast is served as a buffet, featuring freshly squeezed orange juice and freshly prepared eggs of your choice. Half-board includes one evening meal, which is served – meat or fish dishes with a selection of delicious side dishes. Everything is put on the table like a mini-buffet. All this is complemented by fantastic home-baked bread. The restaurant staff are attentive and very friendly. We had a superior room with ceiling fan, a large bathroom and a terrace, where we felt very much at home. The Wi-Fi worked well throughout our stay. I also went diving with the affiliated diving centre – had a great guide, everything was very well organised and the hire equipment was in perfect condition. In the end, we booked a transfer to the airport, which arrived on time.

“Just what I was looking for”

The hotel was exactly what I was looking for: peace and quiet, no entertainment, no buffet with leftovers from the day before, and an adults-only structure. I really appreciated the huge room with a terrace, the architecture of the building and the beautiful library of books on Egypt, in perfect Art Deco style. As a vegetarian, the food was absolutely no problem for me, and I really loved that the dishes were always local cuisine; I’m not interested in eating pasta and pizza when I’m abroad.

“Boutique and stylish without being pretentious”

We loved the Ethos and sense of place as well as the subtle design and construction from local limestone. The staff are amazing, warm and really go out of their way to make every interaction special. The food is incredible and having the Dive Centre on site is so great. The diving staff at Emperor are equally fantastic integrate and the nightly talks in the library are so interesting.

“Absolutely will return”

The location is perfect. House reef is astonishing. The whole property is so relaxing and peaceful, we loved it. Also 2 dogs that were so friendly and cuddly, i hope somebody is taking care of them🧡

“Oasis in Marsa Alam”

Last week, we stayed at the beautiful Wadi Sabarah Lodge and feel compelled to share our wonderful experience. It’s a totally different stay compared to the large resorts. It would suit anyone interested in nature, marine biology, rest and relaxing. Such beautiful surroundings and we love our Deluxe Suite with fabulous balcony. But all accommodations seem to have this space as well, close to the sea. I have spotted ramps for wheel chair users and room 105 would be ground floor with huge bathrooms and large doors. So good to see as it can be challenging when you need accessibility, something I personally needed in the past. Please check for all the additional services, there are too many to mention. The stars of the show are the staff. As two women travelling we feel safe and respected here by everyone. Yesterday we were spoiled with a feast for a special big birthday. Mahmoud walked a mile to pick fresh flowers, Mina and Mohamed looked after us, carrying incredibly heavy skillets. The chef and sous chef made a delicious hand piped guava and strawberry cake we devoured and Nabil the F&B manager checked in with us this morning to make sure every wish was granted. What a fantastic team. Last but not least, we just came back from the best massage we’ve ever had from Mimi and her team. She is a true healer and has made my mums rotator cuff problem so much better that she’s slept a full night in a long time! Many, many thanks! Warm wishes to you all! Shukran Giddan

“Outstanding”

Great, quiet location by the Red Sea . Good snorkelling at the House Reef and Great Scuba diving on site with Emperor Divers. Also has the excellent Red Sea Project base on site. Good swimming pool that was never over crowded. Good reliable fast wifi. Fantastic Meals with friendly and professional service Team...Mila catered for our every need.

Totally recommend this hotel for divers and those, who love relaxing summer vacation. Full board is recommended, as there is no other possibility to eat nearby. The food was excellent and the terrace is very beautiful. The hotel stuff was very helpful. We will definitely visit again!

“Relaxing stay in beautiful hotel”

We had a very pleasant stay at Wadi Sabarah Lodge. Especially the hotel staff, from receptionists to waiters in the restaurant and cleaning personnel were very friendly and professional. Furthermore it was really comfortable to not have animation in this hotel. The rooms were in good condition and the house reef was beautiful. We can't recommend this hotel enough!

“Our second stay - can’t wait for the third!”

Second time at Wadi Sabarah and looking forward to the next. It’s peaceful - well kept and the staff is extremely nice. We love the calm setup, the fixed menu Egyptian style meals, the wonderful breakfast, the gardens, the pool, the natural beach and its pontoon to the blue… It’s not your typical 5-star all inclusive resort: no entertainment, no bottomless cocktails, no all you can eat buffets, no water slides. And that is EXACTLY what we loved.

Breakfast Breakfast was very nice indeed. It could perhaps benefit from a little more variety for guests staying longer. When staying for a week, having the same items in the same position every day can become a little repetitive, so the occasional local speciality or small variation would make it even more enjoyable.

This place is fabulous! We loved many things. I believe the biggest treasure are people working in the restaurant ! Nabil with his team is great! They look after people so nice that you feel welcomed from the first moment you enter this place. Chef is doing great job! Veggie lunches and full reach and with great variety dinners. We went for full board options and this was the right option. We loved that this hotel is relatively small , very quiet with only nice jazzy music in background for dinners and breakfast. Filer water was available 24/7 . We loved the library with daily presentations on nature. This place is ideal for those who want to disconnect and recharge batteries! Thank you team! We will be back

We had an amazing stay at Wadi Sabarah Lodge. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The highlight of the stay was a special dinner organised for us, which made the experience truly memorable. When we encountered a minor issue with our room at the beginning of the stay, the stuff immediately arranged a better room for us, beautiful one with library and front sea view to enjoy the sunrises. The lodge itself feels like a retreat - peaceful, unique, and very special. Beautiful sea and desert views, tasty food, relaxing pool and pleasant, quiet atmosphere to rest and recharge.
