Rayhana is not just a guesthouse or a hotel , it’s a place where you truly feel at home. Let’s start with the staff: I loved how caring and welcoming they are. They are always ready to listen to your needs and make sure you are happy with your stay ,but it doesn’t stop there. You can always enjoy a great chat with them as if you were among friends, because that’s exactly what they will become if you stay long enough. The place itself is wonderful. My room was airy, bright, cosy, spacious, and very clean. The view from the balcony was breathtaking, especially because the sun rises directly over the sea . There’s nothing better than seeing that first thing in the morning. I also loved the outdoor space, where I could sit and work on my laptop or simply relax after an intense day under the sun and snorkelling. There’s a great fish restaurant just a 5-minute walk away where you can enjoy fresh seafood, and Marsa Alam town is just a 15-minute walk. The location is perfect , far enough from the bustle of town to feel peaceful, but close enough if you need to get there. It’s also very easy for taxis or tour operators to reach. There’s good Wi-Fi available in the common areas and a great rooftop where you can chill and enjoy the view. A special thank you to Mahmoud and Shahenda for making my stay so memorable. If I ever come back to Marsa Alam, this will definitely be my place to stay.

I had a lovely stay at the guesthouse and am grateful that I met Ibrahim and his family during my stay. They offered lovely Egyptian breakfast and wide range of additional drinks and snacks. You can also rent snorkeling equipment and bikes. The rooms have a sea view with a balcony, lovely decorations and housekeeping if you need. The best places are the great rooftop where you can just chill and relax in a hammock or a cozy chair. Ibrahim and his staff members will arrange any kind of trip, diving course or taxi if you want to explore the area. They always offer the best recommendations where to go. Most beaches are not that far. If you wanna treat yourself and escape from the city hustle, this is your way to go. You will feel home within a couple of hours!

We had a great stay at Rayhana Guest House. The communication was really smooth from the moment we booked our room. Being in a new place that you do not know at all (our case), it was much appreciated that Ibrahim and his staff took a great care of us! The place looks really cozy and is spotlessly clean. We also liked the decor of the room and common areas. It´s located in a quiet area, walking distance to the city center and close to the sea. There was nothing to complain about. Definitely recommend!

A very beautiful place. Rooms and communal areas are spotless clean. Breakfast was top. Staff is extremely nice and helpful . Once I booked, l received their special prices they offer for all activities, from snorkeling, diving, quads, and transfers. They were very helpful helping me organising my diving. It's the best place if you don't like to be between hundreds of tourists. I enjoyed staying at Rayhana and definitely coming back. Thank you for everything!

We had a very good stay at Rayhana, and Mahmoeed did a very good job preparing breakfast, doing the rooms and helping us arranging taxis and excursions. We particularly enjoyed the large table for breakfast and the roof terrace where we would have a couple of beers at the sunset. Overall we felt quite at home during our staying. The dog of the house adopted us as her owners and would walk with us to the city center every night, barking to anybody who came too close to us. She would wait for us outside the restaurant to accompany us back. Beds were quite comfortable and room was clean and fairly large. Breakfast was good, it could be even better if it included fresh juice (orange, mango or guava) or fresh fruit (Egypt has the best mangos I ever had!, we were buying it in the market and would cut it for breakfast, but it would be nice if they were offered as part of the standard breakfast included in the room). The view towards the see was quite nice, even if a bit far away.

We were greeted my Mahmoud he is a very nice and courteous man who went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable the place has a nice chilled out vibe and is ideal a diving holiday

The hosts were super welcoming and helpful. They gave us great advice and helped us to organise several excursions to visit the most important locations. Great and fresh breakfast! Amazing staff!

We came as a group, the host was so fun! He took us in a beetle bug to a beautiful beach, we had fish dinner and slept peacefully. I would highly recommend.

Very very very nice place! Extremely well cleaned, room big and comfortable, all the structure very organized, the guest Mahmood ( hope is written right 😅) is fantastic! Always there, for everything I needed, very kind and polite. Egyptian breakfast was very good! Sure to come again!

This guest house is a hidden gem! It's not just comfortable and clean (which it totally is!), but it also has this warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The host is absolutely fantastic – incredibly friendly and fun! He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. It felt more like staying with family than at a guest house.

Lovely place and people! Had a comfortable bed, clean room with sea view and Ibrahim was a great host :) it’s perfect to get to know other people, and the rooftop might well be the best spot in town to watch the sun rising above the sea

“A quiet and charming place in the red sea”

Wonderful guest house to stay in Marsa Alam. Ibrahim, the owner, and Mahmud, the house keeper, are excelent hosters. The rooms are big and have mosquito nets. The breakfast is amazing. And the common terrace is very charming. Marsa Alam is a very nice place to dive and snorkel, it has wonderful beaches and way less tourists than the northern towns in the red sea.

Great stay. The room is nice and clean. There is a beautiful common space where you can relax. Generally speaking, everything is quiet and chill, as the owner Ibra, who is super easy going and kind. He will help you to arrange everything you need. It's a perfect place if you want your indipendence and don't like crowded places, or mass tourism. I felt at home very soon. There are also some dogs there, and if you are a dog lover as I am, you'll be amazed by their intelligence, beauty and personality. Highly recommended!

“Quaint guesthouse with cosy atmosphere”

The guesthouse has a view of the sea and is well situated to get to the village, as to the beaches which are reachable by car or bike. My room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The owner Ibra was very helpful when I had questions or requests. He cares about the place and seems to upgrade it consistently as he had the roof tiled to build another area for guests to relax in. Ibra and Mahmoud are very kind people. I also liked that the guest house capacity is limited which makes it easy to get to know other guests and even organise sightseeing trips together.
