We booked Deep Ashri last minute as our previous accommodation wasn't to our standard. Simonetta came at night time to let us in, made sure we had everything (even gave us some of her own eggs for breakfast) and set us up with a driver and Manus who helped get us snorkeling gear and pick up groceries and a Sim card for us and Mohammed who cleaned our apartment daily The stay was everything we needed and with such kind caring people, an absolute life saver for our time in Marsa Alam

We had a very nice stay here. Simonetta and Mohamed make you feel very welcomed. It's the perfect place if you want to avoid being in a big resort. The diving sites in Marsa Alam are incredible and Simonetta made us a very personnalized schedule to make sure we could see and experience the maximum out if it. Thanks again !

“Marsa Alam trip 2025”

My stay in the apartment was great. It was fully equipped for long stays (fridge, electric stove, kettle, etc.). The location is within walking distance of the city and public beach, yet still peaceful and quiet.

“Great host, great location”

The host and the facilities are great. The room was quiet, clean and big. The kitchen had most things you need to cook meals. Overall we liked it and would return.

Simonetta is great, everything was so well organized, every demand was always very well answered positively. Marsala Alam is a very quiet town, but recommended for diving, quad, horse riding. Just contact Simonetta for the different visits you want. Only negativ point, is that hotel hasn't got wifi. But asking before Simonetta, she orgnizes a internet sim card before arrival. If you have, take a mobile router, good to keep your sim phone inserted. I highly recommend Deep Ashri hotel Diving Center. Whole hotel team and diving center were very helpful. Next to the hotel, there is a little spa center with very nice massage.

“Great value with good diving/snorkeling excursions”

Large comfortable apartments in a modern building with a bar/restaurant on site selling good quality and generous European style meals. The diving centre is next door. We had 2 snorkelling excursions with Mohamad, who was excellent. Great value.

The weather was quite windy, so we had only one snorkling tour, which however was very rewarding due to the great help from Mohamed Akash and his colleges in the diving centre. There is a friendly restaurant on the ground floor.

“Chilled, comfortable and good diving on site.”

Great, well equipped flat in chilled place. Lovely diving and centre set up is fab. Good restaurant downstairs as well. Lovely beach just opposite for wandering along and even a dip. Some rubbish, but generally v undeveloped and chilled

The place was super clean and had all necessary amenities. We loved the staff everyone was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We felt very safe at all times.

Hotel is beautiful. Very clean and very well equipped apartments. All facilities exactly as in booking description. Everything works. If you like to cook, you can find everything which good kitchen should have. If you don't like to cook, you can eat at hotels restaurant where they serve very tasty meals. Simonetta (I think owner) is a very nice and helpful person.

The location was perfect, with a lovely sea for snorkelling in front of Deep Ashri and walking distance to the town. The host was amazing, she is an enthusiastic and experienced guide. She arranged for us all these fantastic excursions; she gave us the most useful tips and provided an excellent driver. The place was clean and comfortable. We will definitely go back!

Simonetta is really incredible and the staff also ! we spent a very nice moment in Marsa Alam. Simonetta is really helpful and arranged us a very nice snorkeling trip to see dolphins !! what an amazing experience ! we definitely recommend this place :)

“An amazing stay”

I am so happy that after a lot of research I decided to stay at Deep Ashri. We wanted to stay in Marsa Alam city and do snorkeling and diving and I am completely satisfied with the property but especially with the welcoming atmosphere that Simonetta provided us with. She helped us so much and made sure we had an unforgettable time here. It was like visiting a friend and we loved it. My only regret is that we did not stay longer. The studio had everything we needed and was very comfortable for us. The reefs around Marsa Alam are incredible and being able to see dolphins and turtles made this one of the most incredible experiences we’ve had. To be repeated.

Deep Ashri is perfect place to stay for all your diving needs. It has an Italian restaurant next door which sells good food and drinks. Both Simonetta and Mateu work very hard to ensure all your needs are met. They are fully aware of the poor quality of the surrounding area which is still being developed but if you keep your head below sea level if becomes irrelevant because the sea life is magical. Simonetta will take you to the best diving and snorkelling beaches which are only a short car journey away. The apartments are clean and very well equipped.

Overall a great experience. The room was comfy and clean with many amenities. Simonetta was a super host, she helped us find the best red sea tours. We really enjoyed our time in Marsa Alam and we will be back to Deep Ashri.

It's a beautiful place in Marsa Alam! Very chill and calm place, with beach views from the hotel. The staff is very helpful and nice We had to dive our last day, and they let us do a late check out in the afternoon :) When we come back to Marsa Alam, we know where we will stay
