The hotel is beautiful and very peaceful, a short drive away from some of the best diving spots (the car rides were included in the dive package). The owner Mo together with the rest of the staff were very welcoming and took care to accommodate all needs. I did my PADI Advanced and it was an amazing experience, with Ayman who is an excellent teacher.

Everything was perfect. Mohamed and the whole staff were amazing. We had a lot of fun. The hotel is also very well situated! 10/10

“Place with a local spirit and a great host”

The owner was extremely helpful and friendly and organized a beautiful snorkeling trip for us. The rooms were basic, but spacious and clean. There is a gym and a pool but we haven't had chance to use it. The owner has a diving school so this place is great for divers. The area is quiet but close to the city centre of Marsa Alam and slightly further to the beach around 20min walk. As two female travellers we felt safe and looked after. If someone is keen to see the real life of local people and experience local food and atmosphere this area is definitely for that.

“Great stay with great staff, will definitely come again”

I booked the hotel through another website because I wasn’t sure how safe it would be to come to Egypt as a woman alone, I wasn’t able to find much information from solo women travellers which is why I mention it. I spoke to the owner of the hotel via WhatsApp and he was very kind and prompt with his replies, he provided all the information I needed before I arrived. I booked a cab through him for the transfer and it was again prompt and I felt safe with the driver. Upon arrival I was greeted by the owner Mohammed who settled me in, spoke to me for a while about the things to do and made me feel very welcome. The hotel itself is in a quiet area which is perfect if you’re looking for a rejuvenating and relaxing holiday, situated inside the hotel is a diving centre which takes care of all your diving, snorkelling and beach needs. The staff there are amazing and helpful and always in a good mood smiling and having fun and making you feel involved. The amenities at the hotel are everything you’d need for your stay, the pool and public areas are always maintained and clean, the breakfast is delicious, the staff are brilliant and helpful and again very friendly. At no point did I feel unsafe. The room was very comfortable, the bed and bedding was perfect to relax, there was AC and a fridge and wardrobes. Locationwise there’s plenty of restaurants and shops around that stay open till late at night. There’s a stable nearby if that’s your thing and some shops to buy souvenirs. As a girl I felt very safe walking the streets in the day and at night, the people either are very kind and friendly or they don’t pay you much attention which is perfect. Almost everyone speaks English so that’s not a worry. I hope to come back to Blue Vision and visit soon

“Perfect place to stay when you want to go diving!”

From the time we arrived we felt directly very welcomed! Mohammed is a great host who really wants his guests to feel like they’re at home :) He arranged snorkeling and diving for us while we were there so we would not have to worry about anything. We saw beautiful places at the Red Sea and had a great time. The room itself it rather simple, but has overall everything you need.

The hotel is very well located and the room are comfortable. There is a nice swimming pool and gym. Plus, the owner is very flexible and nice!!! We’ve been pleased by the nice breakfast and challerous service! The hotel offers a lot of different choices in terms of diving days or safaris. The the are professional the boats are super clean and well taking care of and the spot to see are incredibly magnificent. Thank you for everything!!!

“Wonderful hotel stay, would recommend!”

Stayed at Blue Vision hotel for 5 days at short notice, exclusively for scuba diving. The staff there are excellent and very friendly. The food in the restaurant is delicious and well priced, and they serve alcohol too. The hotel is clean. Mohamed, the owner is a scuba instructor knows all the local diving spots and was able to take me to many locations where we were usually able to get in 3 dives a day by the early afternoon. He is a nice guy and I really enjoyed diving with him. He also arranged for breakfast to come early to my room on the days we departed early to dive. I think the hotel is well priced for what you get. We were unfortunately unable to go to Elphinstone reef due to the visibility. Mohamed also organised a trip to snorkel with the dolphins, which personally I didn’t enjoy too much as it was VERY crowded with day trippers (probably around 200) piling into the water from a myriad of boats. But it was a fun experience nevertheless. The Wi-Fi there is fast but only works at certain positions in the hotel. The only downside I can think of is the location, which is in the middle of a street which is surrounded by half-constructed buildings and rubble. The beach within walking distance is rocky and not suitable for snorkelling/diving. You’re a short hop from the central main road but it’s a small new city with not a lot going on there. So if you don’t have transport you may be spending a lot of time lounging by the pool (perhaps ideal for some!), which is now clean and functional in contrast to previous reviews. But for a person looking to dive lots and unwind in a quiet comfortable hotel, I could not ask for any more. I’d happily stay here again.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They were very flexible with check in and check out times for what we are very grateful. As soon as we arrived they helped us organizing activities-diving,sightseeing very beautiful beaches. The dinner was super delicious and tasty like homemade. The owner Mohamed is always available doing his best to please the guests. I can recommend this hotel to everyone. Now I remember one more important thing: My husband has a birthday the day before we arrived. In our room was big birthday cake and one big plate fully filled with fruits 😃 Really nice surprise ❤️
