“Not good value for money in my opinion”
There were two men running the resort, one very nice man the other was the total opposite, it was a quiet resort literally in the middle of nowhere so if you are looking for a very quiet, very remote break it's fine, but it lacks a shop, transport etc

“Peaceful location with stunning views over the sea.”
The Lodge is in a great location on top of a hill with fantastic views over the sea a 20 minute walk away. . The beach is gorgeous and you can see turtles if you're lucky. The Lodge provides an excellent breakfast and dinner as the the location is quite far from any restaurants apart from one on the beach. But that's part of its charm! Oir rooms were spacious and comfortable. The owner was very helpful and organised a jeep safari to Wadi El Gamal around 40 kilometres south. It's an absolutely stunning place. Don't miss it. This is our second visit.

“Perfect peace and fabulous food.”
This was a perfect place for peace, relaxation, and good food. We were made to feel welcome and enjoyed the company of Wael, the owner, and the kind attention by Ashraf, his employee. Food was generous, fresh, authentic, and varied. Lovely fish, tahini sauces, herb enriched salads, vegetables, fuls, soups, soft feta like cheese, etc. Breakfast and dinner were sufficient, and we didn't need lunch. Wael organises trips, so we got to snorkel different areas, including the famous Ros Hankorab beach. The local Tondoba a beach has facilities and plenty of fish on the reef. There's no bar, but Wael is happy to keep your drinks cold in his fridge if you want to bring your own. This place is perfect to escape the madding crowd, piped music, drunk tourists, and general business of most resorts. After conversations about spices and food, Wael took us into Marsa Alam to the Spice and Oils shop and helped us choose spices to take home. 😊. He also treated us to the Egyptian lliver sandwich, which was surprisingly delicious. A highlight was swimming with dolphins, a trip we'd arranged beforehand but something Wael can arrange for you. He can also arrange swimming with dugongs and turtles. There were 3 lovely well-behaved dogs and beautiful cats. If you're a pet lover, you will love these. If not, they won't bother you.

“A lost man would feel at home here.”
I had a fantastic time at the resort. The owners are super sweet, and the food is always good. If you're looking for a stay that's a bit different from the standard resorts, just a 5-minute walk from the sea, where you can choose to relax in your cottage or go on a trip, then this is it.

We had a wonderful time for our honey moon at Capt. Wael's place! You can feel the heart in every detail of Bedouin Valley. Interesting talks, good food, amazing views and the beach with magnificent corals and even turtles is just a stone's throw away.

“Peaceful stay”
We stayed here for three nights and from the very first moment we felt warmly welcomed. Wael greeted us with juice and tea, explained everything about the camp, and gave us excellent recommendations for excursions. The place is truly magical, both sunrise and sunset were breathtaking, and at night the moon and stars looked incredible. The silence and peacefulness made the whole experience unforgettable. The group at the camp was wonderful. Breakfasts and dinners were delicious, generous, and served with a lot of care. The friendly dogs and cats were also a joy, they always came to greet us whenever we arrived or left, making the camp feel even more like home. Although the camp is about a 10-minute walk from the beach, the tranquility you find here is unique. The use of solar energy at night also adds to the charm, making you slow down, appreciate the moment, and value simple comforts. At first, I was a little worried that tours might not reach the Bedouin Camp since it doesn’t usually appear as an option in hotel lists. But in reality, if you talk to them, there’s no problem at all. In fact, for many excursions that depart from the port of Hamata, this camp is closer than most Marsa Alam hotels. While other hotels often require two hours of driving to Hamata, from here you’re picked up last and dropped off first, which is very convenient. Of course, it’s a bit further from the airport and other hotels, but the peace and authenticity more than make up for it.

“Truly magical and special and can't wait to come back”
A little gem of a place, a little off the beaten track but worth the journey. Although not directly on the shore, it's only an easy 10 minute walk down to a sandy beach with cafes and places to hang out. It's peaceful, incredibly friendly and with great views across the desert and over the sea. The staff are so kind and friendly, and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The food is delicious, lovingly home-cooked food served by the ever friendly Karim.

“Amazing and relaxing!”
We had an amazing time, all thanks to Wael, who took exceptional care of us. He organized our trips to swim with dolphins, visit one of the most beautiful beaches, and arranged a journey to Luxor with a private taxi driver and guide. He ensured we had everything we needed during our stay. We also want to thank Karim who’s service was always with a smile, he is a very kind and helpful young man. The chef his food was incredible, the portions were generous, fresh and made with love. The rooms were perfect, the many cuddles of the beautiful dogs were heartwarming and the sea has a stunning rief where you could spend hours! We couldn’t have wished for a better, more pure, and relaxing stay. Everyone was so friendly and sincere, which made our vacation even more special. Thank you for welcoming us to your beautiful place. We will definitely visit again! Lobke & Jelle

“Far Away from the All-inclusive-Hassle, laid-back and relaxed!”
If you’re looking for a place to stay far away from the busy all-inclusive resorts: You have found what you are looking for! We haven’t been too sure about traveling to Egypt, after all you hear about all-inclusive resorts and crowded dive sites - but: we are so happy we gave it a try and found this little gem! Located in the middle of nowhere, 15 min drive from Marsa Alam and 5-10 min walk from the beach, Bedouin Valley Eco Camp is a welcoming and heart-warming place. We enjoyed our privacy in a stand-alone bungalow with a private terrace / balcony, as well as getting in touch with other guest and staff members in the common areas. The bungalows are simple, but sufficient. The huts have an amazing view of the sunrise above the Red Sea. All bungalows have an AC. Electricity regulary is available from around 5pm (after sunset) to 10pm, which was more than sufficient for us. Every bungalow has a little extra light that was charged by solar power during the day, so you won’t struggle finding the bathroom at night. The garden, restaurant and common area are built with much love and attention to detail, they been well taking care of. Plants are being well maintained, but don’t expect a tropical garden: It is just the right amount of plants for a place that is located in the middle of a desert. The decorative, colorful lights were just wonderful to look at at night and they’re placed all over camp (but still reasonable). The staff catered very well for our well being, without being intrusive at any time. Khaled, the chef, made us gain a few extra pounds, but every single one of it was worth it - food is local Egyptian and simply amazing! If you’re planning to explore the surrounding areas, renting a car is recommendable. A nature reserve park with wild camels strolling around isn’t too far from camp (app. 20 min by car). Possibilities to go horse riding, diving, snorkeling and sun bathing are just around the corner. Thank you so much! We will see you!

“Best stay ever!”
A wonderful place on earth. It was even better than expected. Wael the host and the staff make your stay to a experience you will never forget. Everyday you get something different to eat. The food is fresh and definitely the best Egyptian food I ever ate. If you have any questions the staff knows everything and also helps with everything. The location is wonderful as well. You can relax and enjoy the quietness. I definitely will go back!

“Beauty in all its simplicity”
The staff! and the food! Amazing people, honest delicious Egyptian food! Simple stony houses with dessert in front and sea view. Diving school near and amazing snorkeling with turtles. The room was very basic but worth it for the very nice experience for a couple of days. If you want to meet something different than the all inclusive resorts, please go here!
