We like everything, great location, great vibes and wonderful architecture and furniture and the breakfast. We were looked after by Youssef from the pre arrange airport pick up through to everything we needed, including a desert experience with camel rides and genuine Moroccan restaurants. The room was amazing, very comfortable and classic Moroccan style. Great roof garden with views and ground floor traditional Riad pool. Very clean, quiet and yet in the Medina. Fabulous

The interior design and the decorations of the Riad are beautiful. We immeadietly fell in love with it when we arrived. The host Yousserf and Mahamud are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the fresh juice and homemade yogurt were amazing.

“A spectacular riad stay!”

Riad Esmeralda is a real gem - located down a quiet alley in a peaceful area of the medina, but walking distance to everything and with a taxi stand conveniently located just around the corner. The interior of the riad is spectacular with lovely common areas around the central courtyard and beautifully decorated and very quiet bedrooms, with good quality linens and very comfortable beds - a real oasis. Breakfast every day was delicious, with fresh local breads, yogurt, fruit, good coffee, juice and eggs on request. Other meals are also available on request and, although we did not order any, they smelled delicious! The rooftop lounge was lovely as well. Although the riad doesn't serve alcohol, guests are free to bring alcohol with them and they happily provide trays, glassware, bottle openers, ice, etc. But the best part of Riad Esmeralda are the staff. Youssef, Mohammed and the others were gracious hosts, very welcoming and kind, and anticipating our every need. They were very responsive to our questions before we arrived, organized great airport transfers and a city walking tour for us, and made great recommendations for other activities, like hammams, monuments, restaurants, etc. A stellar stay!

“Peaceful Palace, Perfect Hosts”

Staying at Riad Esmeralda really is like staying in a Palace! It is beautiful, with eye-catching, exquisite details or original features everywhere. The team were magnificent, especially Youssef and Mohammed. So helpful, kind, intelligent, fun. The breakfast served to us was fantastic and my gluten-free requirements were catered for - in fact I was spoilt, as I normally miss out due to my GF needs. We felt it was a good location, easy to find, safe and well lit at night, and approx a 15 min walk to the main square and souks. After long, warm days, walking miles seeing the sites, it was bliss to return to Esmeralda for rest and relaxation, peace and quiet.

Staff was excellent, the property itself was beautiful! Our suite was luxurious, with a comfortable bed and two sets of bathrooms with a living area. Location was not accessible by taxis but was hardly a 5 min walk. most of the souks and nice eateries in the Medina were walking distance, very convenient. The breakfast was nice

“A hidden palace behind unsuspecting walls”

Beautiful Riad. An exquisite palace hiding behind unsuspecting walls - as happens in the case of some other Riads. There's a lot of craft in every panel, every wall, every tile. Feels like another universe. And the service couldn't be more helpful and welcoming, especially our good host Youssef, who was nothing but helpful, and professional.

Oh my goodness, this was like a small palace, the architecture and decor was exquisite! Youssef and Mohammed and all of the staff were amazing. The breakfast was delicious. The location was away from the hustle but all the attractions were a walk away.

We had a wonderful stay at this riad. Youssef and Mohamed are fantastic hosts who made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The transfer was well organized and everything ran smoothly. The breakfast was delicious and different every day, which made each morning a pleasant surprise. Our room was very clean and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the riad was calm and comfortable. The location is also excellent: right in the center of Marrakech and within easy walking distance of the souks. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting the city.

Breakfast was delicious and served between reasonable times. They were even accommodating when we didn't feel like eating in the veranda or around the pool and preferred to eat in the room as we had a few late nights. Coffee was served upon request even at odd times. Youssef and Mohammed were kind and super helpful.
