Myself and my partner stayed here for one week and it was exceptional. The staff, including Soufian and Hamza, made us feel right at home from day 1. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best experience possible for our first time in Morocco, giving us suggestions on where to visit. The Riad itself was clean, tidy and had all the facilities you could possibly need. The mobile phone they provided was a nice touch and the food was incredible. Highly recommend this Riad

“A wholesome Ryad in Marrakech”

The staff was amazing from the get to go, available and went the extra mile to accommodate small and big requests. They made sure we just enjoyed our stay in the Ryad and Marrakech to the fullest. Needed a new lock 🔐 for the luggage and they made sure to find one without hesitation. Moreover my wife fell in love with an item adorning the room and their gestures definitely gave me some brownie points for the foreseeable future. We were greeted every time, offered beverages after coming back from trips and made us feel like we were at home. Not to mention they gave us a phone to use in Marrakech so we didn't have to worry about esim or roaming charges and a complimentary taxi trip to and from the airport......just fabulous stuff.

“Couples holiday”

The staff of the hotel is amazing. So kind, helpful, providing us with anything we requested. Upon arrival they provided a phone in order to use it as a hotspot during our whole trip. The facilities were very very good and the whole experience was more than satisfactory. Great breakfast, and amazing Tajine if you decide to eat inside the hotel. The Riad is located in a place inside the Medina that gives you the chance to live an authentic Moroccan experience. Complimentary 30 minute massage for our whole party was a very nice farewell gift.

“FABULOUS RIAD ZAOUIA”

The riad was beautiful, with lots of authentic touches in the rooms and the stunning roof terrace, where breakfast was served. It was quiet by day and by night and a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The staff were absolutely exceptional, knowledgeable and helpful and went above & beyond to ensure our stay with them was brilliant.

A beautiful riad but first and foremost the staff were beyond exceptional. Super friendly, genuine and always so keen to help and assist wherever possible. I’ve stayed in marrakech six times over the last few years and Soubiane and his team are the best I’ve ever met.

We were made to feel very welcome, despite a delayed arrival. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and shared their knowledge of the Medina. Having a phone provided by the hotel, with local numbers and local information was helpful and reassuring. The friendly service and well presented local food added to our enjoyment. The Riad's interior decor provided a relaxed and calm environment.

“Beautiful riad, amazing staff!”

Amazing riad! The staff are incredible and definitely part of whats makes staying here so special! So accommodating! We had early tickets for Jardin Majorelle and they made sure breakfast was ready early for us so we could eat before we left. The riad is beautiful and the rooms are also very comfortable with great bathrooms. Unfortunately it was raining most of the time we were in Marrakech but the rooftop looks like it would have been great to spend time on! The included breakfast is incredibly generous. Also loved that they provided a phone so you have a device connected to the internet while there. Such a great touch! We would definitely stay again.

We stayed at Riad Dar Zaouia for two nights and would honestly give it more than 10/10 if that were possible. This place is absolutely outstanding and highly recommended. The location in the Medina of Marrakech is perfect, making it easy to explore the city while still enjoying a calm and authentic atmosphere. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. What truly makes this riad special is the incredible staff. Everyone was extremely kind, welcoming, and attentive – the service really stands out and made our stay unforgettable. The charming rooftop terrace is another highlight, perfect for relaxing after a day in the city. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would recommend this accommodation without hesitation. We would definitely come back!

We really loved staying at Riad Dar Zaouia, the staff was absolutely lovely and made us feel at home. Borrowing a phone at no cost was great, we could use Google Maps to get around and we could easily contact the staff if we needed help with anything.

the breakfast was amazing! far too much, but brought the full morrocan experience with the breads and delicacies provided. the staff were truly amazing, attentive and could not do more for you. the complimentary phone and transfers were a nice touch as well.

Most helpfull staff. One day it was raining a lot, Soufian called us that he will arrange a ride back to the riad. There was one specific Moroccoan dish we wanted to try and couldnt find it anywhere - they arranged the food for us with no extra cost. Most hospitable people we have met in +40 countries.

“Oasis of calm, kindness and tranquility in the Medina”

We loved our stay in Riad Dar Zaouia. The property is a traditional riad, with all guest rooms arranged around a small courtyard and a warm plunge pool, which was a lovely place to relax after a day of exploring. It was our first time in Marrakesh and, at the beginning, we were a little overwhelmed by the energy of the city and the labyrinth of the souks within the Medina. This was made much easier by the loan of a smartphone with Google Maps, which meant we always had our bearings, even if we did still manage to get lost more than once, although this is part of the experience of this fascinating city. We spent five days in Marrakesh and felt we made the most of our time, visiting lots of the main sights as well as some smaller gems (particularly restaurants) recommended by the team. Many thanks too for the recommendation of the traditional hammam at Nilo, just a short walk away, it was a unique and special experience and a real highlight of our stay. At the end of each day, it was a pleasure just to return to the calm and quiet of the riad and reflect on all that happened during the day over a pot of mint tea (expertly poured!). We slept very well and enjoyed the breakfasts each morning served with grace and smiles on the lovely rooftop terrace, along with a couple of evening meals (superb chicken, lemon and olive tagine - mmmmm!), which were also excellent. I would especially like to mention the staff. We are very grateful for their care, attention, and genuine interest in helping us make the most of our stay. Their advice was thoughtful and practical, and always offered with warmth. This has been mentioned in other reviews, but it is worth repeating. They are truly lovely people, and it is this human connection that made our stay feel so special. Many thanks to Soufiane and the team. What a lovely stay! The staff, especially, are absolutely amazing and are true gems. Very helpful, very kind, and so funny. Truly a lovely experience at this Riad. Highly recommend for staying in the Souk!!
