Beautiful place to stay, just a little walk to the markets. Perfect if you don’t want to be in the middle of the chaos. Breakfast was included which was a lovely touch. The man behind the desk was really helpful and spoke to the taxi man for us to make sure he knew where to come.

They have a good service mindset.

The location was close to the souks and there were good restaurants in the neighbourhood. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The shower was great. Would definitely recommend.

Honestly such a positive experience. The price was very reasonable and the service was stellar. We were so impressed. 10/10 breakfast, the staff (Rashid and his cousin) were superb and they even gifted me Msemen (Moroccan “pancakes”) the day we left (having gone out and bought it themselves for me). There was complementary Moroccan tea every night too. I couldn’t rate the riad more highly. Wow.

Staff were lovely and accommodating. Rooms had heating/AC (great as it was cold when we were there.) Nice traditional breakfast with eggs, breads, jam, honey, peanut butter, buns and tea in the morning. Thy even packed it to takeaway on a morning we had booked an early day trip at 7am. The Riad is located centrally for sightseeing the souks and walking around the Medina.

The minute you walk in it smells fresh and clean, very tidy and attentive staff. The location is really good as it’s literally round the corner from where the souks begin and has lots of convenience shops and coffee shops Also the main host person we had was super nice and just so friendly and happy to always see us and help us

“Value for the money”

Location is excellent and most of teh places are withing walking distance of about 15 minutes. Staffs are very polite and felt very welcome to the property. Eating places are also nearby.

“Scammed and lied to our faces by staff.”

We booked a 12 m² double room for 3 nights, but when we arrived the employee gave us a tiny single-person room that was so small we could barely fit inside as two people. We immediately went back to the counter and explained that the room was clearly too small for two people. The employee told us that he could maybe give us a “normal room” the next day, but not that night. What made the situation worse was that he tried to convince us that the normal room was not called a “double room” but a “private double room,” which sounded like an obvious excuse. He insisted that the tiny room we received was the one we had booked. I then showed him our reservation on Booking, where it clearly stated that we paid for a 12 m² room, and the photos shown were of a completely different room. After seeing this, he finally admitted that we were right, but said they had a “booking problem” and could not give us the correct room until the next day. We asked for the price difference for the first night to be refunded. He agreed at the time. However, on the checkout day, he told us that instead of refunding the difference, we didn’t have to pay the city tax because that supposedly covered the room difference. The problem is that we had already paid the city tax in advance through Booking, so this was not a refund at all. Overall, the experience was very disappointing. The staff lied to our faces, tried to mislead us about the room type, and handled the situation very poorly. Instead of being welcoming or honest about their mistake, they tried to avoid responsibility. I would not recommend this riad. The way the situation was handled felt dishonest and very unprofessional.
