Next to the Palais El Badi, in the heart of the Medina, this charming traditional Berber-style riad, is near the Dar Si Said Museum and Jamaâ El Fna Square. Decorated with natural Berber materials such as natural stone, burnt bricks, terracotta, clay and wood, the Riad Carina welcomes you in a characterful and authentic setting. The patio with its basin offers a cosy setting to eat, socialise or simply unwind. Guests can also relax in the flowered pergola on the large terrace or in the Moroccan lounge. The rooms at the Riad Carina are decorated in the same natural style as the rest of the riad using the same materials. They offer individual air conditioning and heating as well as free Wi-Fi access.

Beautiful Riad. Loved the room. The Shower was perfect after a week in the Atlas Mountains. The tajine dinner on the terrace was a big highlight.

Whilst I could give Carina a high score for facilities in many ways this was part of the charm I found the room in fact the whole hotel authentic and it gave me a sense of tranquility

Riad Carina was authentic and welcoming. Its quirky features were a delight. It was incredibly clean and serene.

“Was ok for the price but wouldn’t stay there agin.”
Location was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic but ok. When we had an early start for a day tour the staff gave us a simple breakfast earlier than the start time for breakfast which was 8am, this was good of them.

“Comfortable clean quiet Riad”
It’s is beautifully clean & the host is super helpful. I also liked the location not being in the central souks but near a square where it was easy to get a taxi.

“Hospitality is unmatched”
Hospitality unmatched, they were kind, attentive and helpful. Breakfast 10/10. The Riad is beautiful, calm peacefull, a breath of fresh air after a long day in the busy city.

This was our first time in Morocco and we were not disappointed by Riad Carina. The Riad is right next to the Medina and sights such as the Bahia Palace. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Our breakfast each morning was fantastic and the staff were always very friendly and helpful! We highly recommend a stay here.

Beautiful riad, exceptionally clean, very comfortable and friendly service. The taxi service from the airport was excellent. The breakfast was good and the place was overall very peaceful.

“Luxurious Riad at a reasonable price. Loved it.”
Absolutely loved staying here and wished we had stayed longer. Room was bright and warm with a comfortable bed (crisp white sheets) and extremely clean bathroom. Traditional Moroccan ambience and furnishing : it was just beautiful. Best place we stayed at in Morocco.

“A beautifully appointed riad in a good location.”
The location is perfect, within walking distance of many places to visit. It’s in a quiet alley, so quiet at night. The riad is lovely, beautifully decorated with seating areas and a roof terrace beside the palace walls. The rooms are large, and very comfortable with excellent facilities. The staff are helpful and friendly. We have booked for next year already!

The Riad is beautiful. It’s decorated with attention to detail. We had a beautiful room with loads of space (I think we were upgraded?) Bathroom was great and we always had plenty of hot water. It’s only 2 min walk from a taxi drop off so you don’t have to walk too far with cases. The traditional Moroccan breakfast was great. As we were staying in the winter the buildings get cold but we had a little heater in our room which sorted us out.

Amazing hosts! Beautiful patio terrace at the top level with outdoor seating perfect for photos and to just chill in the morning.The location is amazing close to everything in the center. Breakfast was good. Booked online and in advance for one night, there were slight personal issues we had with finding a spot for suitcase storage after checkout time and the hosts were nice and tried to help us. Room was small for three people but that’s not an issue because we slept amazing and felt very comfortable. Overall this was a great experience and would love to visit marrakech again and stay in a traditional Moroccan garden house, Riad.
